Holy rain!

I planted 4 plots on Saturday and was hoping for some rain. Well I got it. 4.20”! Overall the plots held up with a few washouts. A couple day will tell the tale.

We got a 1/2 inch of rain in Cayuga Cty today no wind to speak of.  Bad weather was East today.

We got roughly 3".  First real rain we have received since May.  It never rained really hard, so it soaked in and didn't run off.  My little front lawn actually turned green by the end of the day.  I haven't mowed at all in 5 or 6 weeks.  Glad to have it.

Got quite a bit of wind and rain here in the capital region. My tomato plants all blew over, even though they were staked and tied. Big branch came down next to my bass boat, but thankfully missed it by - that much..... Will pull the cover off after work to be sure.

On a good note, all the rain helped the corn, peas, beans and other plots we have planted at the farm.

We got a few inches, looking forward to seeing how my plots are coming on.

Got 2.5" here in northern Columbia county. Needed it badly. Most ponds around here had 4-5' of bank showing.
