Many years ago that topic came up. So we went to a well traveled trail, there were some tree stumps sticking out of the ground on the trail from logging,we took turns doing it on different stumps, later on a few deer were walking threw,They stopped at ever stump each sniffed them and walked over to the next one. They were not spooked at all. :bye:

Put up a camera over an active scrape and pee in it. You'll be amazed at all the deer hitting it.

Belive him, it works and I have done it many times, got a giant 10 point come in to the pee scrape this year as well as many other Bucks.

i pee in the scrapes i see to wake them up.

Had a doe spook once when she smelled my pee.I peed in a spot i wanted a deer to stop on the trail. She came thru then stoped. She sniffed and jumped then looked around.then went to going right back to walking.I wasn't taking does at the time.

I used to do the water bottle thing.Got pee on my hand once and said the hell with this.Started googling it and found the big thread on Bowsite on peeing in scrapes. So i tried it.It works.deer cant tell if the urine is human or another kind of animal.

Have always squirted from the stand and have never seen a problem even with mature bucks. This year however, after reading on this site about peeing in scrapes, i conducted my own experiment. Put the camera out and was amazed at the pics. I was joking earlier about making mock scrapes right off the downwind side of my stands, but i may seriously do it next yr. By the way, Chuck Adams does not carry a pee bottle.
