Slammer buck road kill

This pic was sent to a friend of a friend who knows the sheriff who took this picture. This buck was supposedly killed in the Greenwich area of New York, about 20 minutes east of Saratoga. Whether or not its true is hard to say with the pics that get thrown around these days but it sound pretty legitimate. An incredible deer for New York none-the-less, phenomenal mass and tine length!!

That is awful, poor buck.Something not right about asphalt behind a beauty like that.Too bad.

Well atleast he didnt get shot in a cemetary and put to good use for food. A nother one for the landfill.

Yes and if it is a ny buck atleast he passed on some of that blood flow before he got taken out!!!

That deer is listed as a pick-up/roadkill from Becket County, MA...not NY. Makes you wonder how stories like this get started?

The easter bunny starts them. He told me this Bear was killed around Binghamton NY. There is snow on the ground here so it must be true.

I would have believed you, but there aren't any clouds, so I don't believe it.

I saw that buck pic on the NEBBC website last week saying Mass. This is the second time this week I have seen it saying NY. I know its dead anyhow, somewhere. I guess the NEBBC website is slightly more credible.

I dont see any pot holes thats not a ny road its to nice lol incredible buck sadly that is how a lot of the MONSTER bucks die car collisons..... NICE DEER AND NICE ROAD.....

First i have never seen a road in that good of shape in ny, so that was my first clue... Why is the car never shown or people? i love just a picture of a deer.... can be anywhere... Just like one hanging in a cooler. I love how these things spread
