I once read a forum that was discussing gays in the military. Everyone shut up about it when someone from the military pointed out something to the effect of " well look at how many heterosexual relationships ruin families in the military" and " everybody on the bases knows who's gay and who's not". What's the big deal? To each his own.

If you don't want your kids thinking gay is cool or what not, until they're old enough to make that decision themselves, it's up to you to censor what they see.

Well than he should have said that and if he did, I would have agreed with him. Here in Nassau county the Republican machine runs everything and just because I was registered Republican I didn't want them to think they automatically get my vote they don't. That's why I switched to Independent. Now can I have some popcorn too? Like I have said before our political system and political parties, all of them are dysfunctional and out of touch with the public.

And to follow up such a stupid statement by stating that these claims are backed up by science and fact only shows how ignorant you really are. if you're so concerned about 'the cost' of gay marriage and the impact of gay parents raising children, i wonder how many children you have adopted or fostered. And, since you brought up 'science'- FYI: same sex couples don't reproduce, they usually adopt.
