Probably as heavy as a two person deluxe model ladder but if it gets you up into the tree then so be it.

What if my battery dies?

The battery we chose to use is a deep cycle battery. Should you run the battery dead within roughly 15 minutes, your battery will change up enough for your dissent. You can not get stuck in the tree.

Wife has a photo of my land with all the stands marked, she knows what one I’m in , and I text when I’m at the truck . A handicapped guy I’d imagine would have even more failsafes in play .

When I can’t safely get in a stand ,I’ll  just ground  hunt or buy a side of beef .

But he's not "anchored and safe" because he has NO NO NO NO NO safety harness on!!

Plus, the stand seemed awfully wobbly when he first stepped onto it.
