Stepbrat closed on her first house today.

Wife's daughter is now a homeowner.  She bought a nice little little place in Albany between Albany med, where she works and St Peter's hospital. She did it all on her own while working full time and going to college for her masters. At 25 yrs old, too.

I personally would have wished she waited as it is a sellers market, and the housing prices are through the roof. She's beyond excited, as are her mom and I for her.

Congrats there are some nice old houses down that way especially off New Scotland Ave. 

Have her check out Ragonise deli by new Scottland elementary school. My wife teaches at the school that deli has fed me good over the years

Brilliant young lady ! She is far ahead in maturity beyond her age. I congratulate not only your daughter for her accomplishments , but also you and your wife for giving her the motivation for success.

Shes very familiar with that area. That's why she targeted it for her first purchase.

yea house prices around here are crazy high. if she rented though she'll never see that money back. good for her. sounds like the decent area. some spots immediately around albany med aren't good. her location though would be bad for me i'd always be at albany ale and oyster or tipsy moose.

If you go to the moose get the bull Winkle
