Barn project

Old barn took. A hit winter before last and last winter , cut bunch of spruce and pine in February and had friend cut them into board.  Here is project so far.weather has been rough with the storms every weekend but it's coming along

That one looks like it will take quite a snow load with all them trusses.  Did you get them before the current tripleing of lumber prices or did you make them from the logs that you cut ?

Had them made, all said and done I'll have about 7500.00 into new barn for steel,fasteners, screws, stone , sliding door hardware, and man door.

It the barn now looks so much bigger.  Also love the reusing of all the old 2x6s plus the majority of the lumber coming from trees that came off of your property.

Is the beer cost factored into that number ? With that many guys working on the barn I think you can round your $7,500 cost figure up to $10,000  LOL

Looking good G-Man. Its going to be nice having a practically new building when its finished.

Fortunately most.of.my.friends are not big beer drinkers a case will last all season from bow to muzzleloader here..

Been working on barn and have it all enclosed 90% done , soffets,trim , baton boards left will wait till spring
