Rich's Meat Processing Greenville ??

Hi Folks,

Been a while, forgive me, life has been challenging this last two years.  Anyway, wondering if anyone knows what's going on with Rich's in Greenville?  I can't get anyone on the phone, many attempts.  Did he shut down?  

Anyone know a processor in that area?

I've been using this guy - Jim Maki - 518-756-6258 or 518-461-5003 - for over 18 years , he's in Ravena but does a nice job cutting and wrapping ! He also sell's and delivers Firewood !

Thanks, that's good to know.  A bit of a drive for me (I'm toward the NW corner of Greene), but if Rich has closed it may be the best option.

Was he located in the old 'Greeneville Packing' building?? Across from where the Drive In used to be?

No, that's a different shop.  I've never dealt with them, do they process deer?  

I think the drive-in is still there.  At least I hope so.  ?

 

Edit: I meant to add, Rich's shop was/is off Maple Road, up near 403.  Technically probably in Westerlo.

There is a bleau's meat processor up near berne. Don't know much about them though.

What about the place in Hannicroix? Berkshire View Custom Meat? Heard a few people say they do good work and prices are competitive.

He closed a couple years ago.

OK thanks. Went by there, and saw no activity last couple years? This is the place in South Berne right?

Its on rt443 past zimmer not sure if its considered Bern or Schoharie??

Drive in still open and really is fantastic, worth a trip when the weather is nice on the weekend.

I don’t know if Greenville packing is still taking deer but he is open.

Yeah is definitely doesn't look open but I thought I had seen signs last year around town.

Just thought I'd follow up here.  I was at Rich's today, they are definitely up and running as usual.  Apparently they dropped their land line phone (as have many people, including me at home).  You can reach them on their cell, which is (518) 755-9901.
