Today I finished my DIY motorized gobbler decoy. I switched the wooden base for an old tripod. Painted it with black plasti dip. Attached the servo kit and "Voila"......

Just got her last week. Very, very smooth draw into the valley, no jump off the cliff into the valley... this is amazing considering the speed this thing is spitting them out at. The let off... one word... SICK! The bow holds amazing! One of the top review bows from the ATA and all I can tell you is... just shoot one! This bow has a rock solid back wall, limb stop equipped so those that like their back wall a little soft like the cable stop bows... but with that said, you may just love the feel and how it holds. At full draw, if you go to let up, BEWARE! It feels like the cams will not roll over, it holds that nice... Still under 100 arrows through it, update soon with Chrony numbers. I haven't been around here much of late. I have been really involved in researching and visiting colleges with our daughter. The time together for our family has been great.

First, i dont want any guns in archery season, other than the youth weekend, which is fine by me. Some of you guys have this misconception that I and other pro crossbow guys would want to see any weapon allowed into the early season. That simply isnt the case. I just want to see all forms of archey allowed. The stock on a crossbow doesnt mean it isnt archery. They all kill the same way, with a broadhead tipped arrow powered by a string, and they all kill at short range. Bottom line Doc, is that NYB is only in the fight for their selfish, elitist reasons. Your pal Belo is a perfect example of the NYB "Real Hunter" attitude that makes alot of us want to puke.

with Como and maybe no guns allowed, it may come to more support for the cross bow. At 71 and have been shooting a recurve and compound for over 50 years I do see the time when I sure no longer can draw and hold a bow and sure would love to still hunt with a cross bow. I see these type of child games of my deer is better than your deer taken with a gun over a bow, sound like my Dic x is bigger than yours. We all our hunters so lets stay commitment to support all of us that love the sport.

C'mon G-Man....Movement is movement!!! Box calls and slates are great (I use both), but they cannot compare with the mouth call. If you wish to say that you do not want...or will not use a mouth call....That's okay. Just don't try to justify yur decision because your calls are better than mouth calls. The absolute bes turkey call....is the one he responds to!!!

I would have to ask what you thought a nice buck was and if you ever got a nice one yourself? I thought most thought any buck was a nice buck with a bow! I would like to know if your nice one is the same as my nice one!!!!

Getting rid of the stock would be a good start.

Same here for the compound . I'll be 72 this upcoming season and can still draw my 60 and 70 pound bows and will stick with them until I can no longer shoot them . I have no interest in owning a Crossbow . And ......... at almost $4 a gallon , i'm not going to throw any gas on the fire !
