Geneva 14-Point buck
Troy Studer, 29-year-old resident of Geneva, shot his first extra-large deer on Friday, Oct. 4, just four days into bow season, with a bow on his property in the town of Geneva. The deer was an enormous 14-point buck with five drop tines. To give perspective on how rare this is: A single drop tine only occurs in about 1 in 500,000 bucks, meaning a deer with five drop tines has a probability of about 1 in 3,125,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. This is an astronomically rare, almost impossible event. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime (or several-lifetimes) kind of deer.
