Yes its happen to me a few times . I had to call the DEC and give them my tax map # , had it in a fews days..

Found two Stihl chain saws in cases mile apart from one another , posted a add in Lost and Found , nobody claimed them .

Few years ago I pulled into a deer check station and was given a ticket for a licence plate that was un-readable do to snow and ice on it , got in dismissed but cost me court costs......

I also have property in 9P , I counted 5 shots total on Saturday and two on Sunday , my thoughts the hunters are just not out there like they use to be....

As a landowner with over 100 acres I got turned down the last two years for a permit , the office where I get my licence says its how the lottery works and that I should call the DEC . I did call last year gave them my tax ID # they said one would be mailed , never receieved one . Same this year so far . I thought land owner status your guaranteed one ?

Ive hunted 9p for 20 years now and steadly getting less sighting of deer . There hasent been a agricultural field within 5 miles of camp for the last 5 years ..

They been around my place in Allegany for a few years now , we had one up in a tree where we had deer hanging durning hunting season that decided that one of the deer was a free meal !

I have a chance to pickup a 308 model 100 semi-auto , I check the serial # its was made in 1969. I think these had a firing pin issue. The gun in in excellent condition and its scoped. Anybody have any input on these guns ?
