  1. Pretty awesome collection!!!
  2. You put up blinds ahead of season? Does that seem to work well? Do you hunt with decoys? This is an interesting thought. I wear a ghillie suit and plan on moving around alot, but I no guys campout on a set-up also. I guess every situation is different.
  3. My Walmart has most basic Loads associated with whatever the current season is, I just make sure I get it when I see it.
  4. Anything is possible. Bare down, aim small miss small, and dont forget to squeeze. A nice basic clean up of the sear pin or trigger will make a more crisp shot, a couple of my most used guns have at least been cleaned up. I'm about shoot more, shoot more often, and buy more ammo every time I go near it. Lol
  5. My 1100 really has killed everything I hunt for effectively, but toys are cool.
  6. I started shooting in my hunting clothes just before season, dry run scenarios. I guess archery taught me that lesson.
  7. You may be able to figure out what's wrong and modify them a little.
  8. Also check places like big lots, ollies, and tj max, they have electronic closeout stuff cheap.
  9. Lol, except saddles are a brand new trend, just ask youtube. Lol I'm not hating, mobile is great but I'm into hunting not rock climbing yet.
  10. Love hand hogging those little shits
  11. Does anyone know the elk range in Pennsylvania? I'm thinking about going down for a couple days to shed hunt and I figured why not overlap the elk range at the same time.
  12. Early season with a Bluetooth speaker near a lucky duck attractor. Prey calls almost no barking. In late season I mostly use hand and mouth calls I think its possible many of these dogs have hear all kinds of electronics. February and March i do very minimal calling, like 1 howl and lots of patients. But just like everything else you need to scout, and scout more. I get positioned on a high spot and just listen as long as I can at night, and look for tracks at common crossings. Note all fresh sign when in the woods. I may scout for a week to find an active ridge system. This is the hardest time of year to kill a yote.
  13. They are very durable and warm, but very heavy. Im noticeably more tired when wearing heavy clothing and footwear. That is one of the benefits of current tactical and hunting equipment.
  14. Most saltwater fish is better than freshwater fish.
  15. I dont think so. I was looking for turkey loads and always 150g 3006, I'll look next time.
  16. I had seen good prices at our local Walmart also, and more stock than in the last couple years.
  17. Idk about back tracking but there are rare occasions when coyote does kill a beagle. I know at least 1 time personally. Hunting with dogs always presents a danger for the dog. Hunting in pairs or packs will help. Also I think coyotes are hunted more with larger hounds, but I could be mistaken.
  18. Every situation is different. Ripstop is great. I go to my local army navy and see what they have. Usually durable and fairly reasonable. I also buy closeout stuff from Walmart and other department stores, most of it is quiet, some of it doesn't stand up to prickers but you can tell by the feel durability in general.
  19. Thats getting a better time for musky activity. Depending on water temperature first weed beds on the deep side are great and trolling up and down points can work great also. You can pick them up with the fish finder to locate them, but they can be tight lipped.
  20. What Do you do with your sheds? Are all of them on your private land?
  21. It's a tough time of year for muskies. Always had luck with chartreuse when we were hooking up.
  22. Gives you a reason to go back. Lol. It's easy to get lost in the woods for the day. I just started understanding how to match em up so I got three sets this year. I like shed hunting almost as much as hunting, there is real strategy. 50% of my sheds are from public too. It's competitive and hard work, I find it gratifying at the same time. I work hard for 15 to 20 sheds a year.
