Saw 4 doe a spike and a 4 pt. All the crazies were out! Shots everywhere! God I hate rifle season!

Lazy hunters? Slower Folks? You don't even know me....I hunt hard and shoot a good buck almost every year for a reason bud! And I have the posted the pics to prove it! Unlike you I contribute something to this site other then starting Sh*t with people everyday. You claim to be such a pro but I don't see a SINGLE PIC OF A DEER YOU HAVE SHOT! Prolly some punk down in the city that never even shot a good buck. Man I promised myself I wasn't even goign to bother replying to this.. OOps!

You shouldn't hang them at all unless you have a controlled environment (walk in fridge) IMO. If the temp fluctuates above and below freezing it is not good on the meat.

This happened pretty close to me and people are PISSED to say the least! Hopefully they catch whoever did it! They will open their mouth at some point and get caught, they always do.

Man, you guys are tough with aging these deer on this site I've noticed! I have shot a lot of deer and watch them all year... to me that is a 3 1/2 yr old deer based on body size. That is a large bodied deer! The rack wouldn't score much, maybe 110 but it is still a nice deer. I have to disagree with everyone saying 2 1/2, I would have to say 3 1/2.

I wouldn't turn him in but I would lay down the law that i was hunting that buck!

I have a whisker bisquit and will always have one! I can shoot 50yds all day long as accurate as everyone that i know that has a drop away. I have killed all sorts of deer with a biscuit. They work great and you never have to worry about dropping an arrow off the rest.

HA! Please tell me you are just trying to be funny! If you had 1 1/2 yr old deer on your property that big you could be a rich man! Forget about the horns they don't even matter in this case. The size of the body says it all... no 1 1/2yr old has a body like that, not even up in Alberta.

That buck it atleast 4 1/2 and right around 140in. I don't know how anyone could say 3 1/2 on that buck! No way! Great mature buck, def a shooter! Good luck!

My buddy is taking me on a 4 mile hike into the Adirondacks this weekend. We are backpacking in and sleeping in tents up near Tupper Lake. It is my first time doing this and it's supposed to be 25deg at night with snow!!! This should be interesting! Don't expect to see anything but who knows might see the buck of a lifetime. Anyone else plan on hiking in for the opening weekend of rifle anywhere? Usually I am bowhunting southern zone now but this year I shot an 8pt already so I figured why not.

First let me say that I don't agree with baiting only because it is not legal in this state therefore you shouldn't do it. BUT... You really think a mineral lick is going to draw in all the big bucks? NO!!! Lol These deer are not going to go out of their way to hit a mineral lick, just like they are not going to come from all parts of the county for it! All that mineral lick is really going to do is have a deer that would have come through that area anyway stop and pose for the camera and have a taste. There is still so much forage they don't need to travel far for food and def not for a lick on a block that taste good but doesn't fill their bellies. Anyway like I said I don't agree with it because it's against the law but I love when guys act like if you set a mineral lick under there tree stand they are going to shoot a big buck. Go ahead and try it I bet you will not be successful!

Technically it is a 7pt but I still call it an 8! It's my best bow buck and 8 sounds better than 7!lol It's a private guy in the area that did it.. not a company

Just got back my 8pt bow kill from 2012 and boy did he come out nice! Looks good on the wall! i also got back 2 black bear but I haven't been able to put them on the wall yet so no pics. I will post as soon as they are up.

I have a .270 WSM and it will knock over a horse! The WSM is a different beast than the regular .270 but I love this rifle. Have a 30-06 but prefer teh .270wsm. Both are great deer rifles though!

I stuck this 8pt last night at 5:45 pm. All night long there was a light misting rain and it had the deer moving! I had a doe and fawn came in really early. It was the smallest fawn that I have ever seen this time of the year. Covered in spots and couldn't have weighed more than 40lbs. Shortly after I had a total of 6 does work their way in. They all made it within 20yds but I had no intentions of taking a doe yet so I let them all walk. The rain stopped, the sun went down and here he comes!! A nice 8pt worked his way down the lane a presented a 10yd broadside shot to me! Yeah I love it when a plan comes togther!
