  1. Tough to tell from the pics you posted but prolly around 115-120. Speaking of pics I don't understand how you guys shoot these great bucks and don't take any field pics of it? To me you shoot a nice buck like that i would atleast put camo on for the pic! Maybe I'm crazy though
  2. Yeah I can shoot 50 all day.... I have practiced out to 70 before but my arrow drops an EXTREME amount! I have another yahoo poachin dirtbag hunting the bordering property and I am just praying he doesn't get the shot before I do!
  3. I had this buck at 70yds broadside right in front of me. I almost cried that I couldn't take the shot but I am only confident out to 50, past that I worry it might not be a good shot. I will prolly never see this buck again! FML
  4. I went out at 3 Sunday and had 4 does and a 3pt in the field by 3:30! I prefer to hunt the mornings during this heat though.
  5. 1 1/2. I wouldn't shoot him but you are more than welcome too! Plenty of the guys I know that hunt would!
  6. Redfield is the budget brand made from Leupold...I have a couple things made by them all good stuff.
  7. Nice deer! Almost time to get after em'
  8. I Good luck shooting at anything at 4yds out of a blind! If you can get a fawn within 4 yds and pull of the shot let me know I guess I don't understand when people don't practice outside of 20yds... To me it is just plain stupid to not be able to shoot outside 20yds from the stand. As a bowhunter you have to atleast pracitce and be comfortable out to 40yds. Even if you don't plan on taking that shot it makes you that much better at 20. Practicing at 3-10 yds just seems silly to me.
  9. Few more bucks i got on the trailcam. What looks to be the biggest 4 point I have ever seen. Something made the pic come out blurry though.
  10. God let's not get on this debate again!!! Keep it to your best bucks........ My two best bucks
  11. When he sees that sign hes going to steal the camera!
  12. Not really in this spot.. like I said last year I had over 100 pics a week and pics of six different bucks within the week. Usually if a deer is in that area you will see him within a week. That is if you have your camera on the highway that just about all the deer are using this time of the year. Right now the deer basically do the same thing everyday in the area I am hunting. They bed down all day and only move as far as they have to to eat. Obviously I wont get a pic of every buck within the week but the bucks that are right in that area I would expect to .
  13. I pulled my trail cam last night after 6 days and this is all I had for bucks. I was not impressed by the number of pics at all! Last year I had over 100 pics every time I pulled this camera, this year I only had 27!!! Hopefully things pickup and I get some more bucks. The good news is that at least I got a pic of one shooter! Here is that 8 point with small brows last year I believe... What do you guys think?
  14. Looks like normal shedding to me... these cold nights may have them shedding a little early this year, don't think you have to read into it any more than that.
  15. If it was up to me let the hunters fill their freezers and donate any other meat. This seems like a waste of money if you ask me! What are your thoughts? http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/ny-village-birth-control-trim-deer-herd-19862177
  16. Excuse me he is 3.22 to be exact, that deer was born on May 20th of 2010. C'mon guys yeah I say 3.5 just because that's what he will be come hunting season!
  17. Either a big 6 or an 8 when he is done! Nice!
  18. Has anyone ever stayed here? I am looking for some info... my wife and I are going to camp here this weekend and I was planning on bringing my boat (16ft Lowe v bottom fishing boat). It doesn't look like there is a launch at the campground but there is down the street in Cooperstown. I guess there are only ten spots to park at that launch. My main problem is a place to keep the boat overnight Friday and Saturday. Is there a place to park the boat overnight in the campground? Any advice would be appreciated! I just don't want to tow the boat all the way up there and then not be able to park it somewhere.
  19. I have several inexpensive Moultrie's and haven't had any issues. My buddies have had nothing but problems with Cuddebacks
