  1. And for the love of God, Cuomo is back speaking yesterday from a Brooklyn church (Godly man he is) and victim shaming. He'll be front and center soon enough. I'm sure he smells blood in the democratic waters and will rear his head and dust off the allegation and disgrace to be back for a solid round two. Hope I'm wrong !!
  2. Harris was condescending and self inflated during the VP debate, when she had to tell the audience what the definition of "debt" was in a elementary way. As far as Biden vs Trump speeches, Biden is lost and it shows; Trump is a narcissist and has a ego bigger than life, when he tried to make tongue in cheek jokes it was suddenly gospel. Example, injecting bleach to cure covid, if anyone believed that they should follow Harris closely as she'll explain it. Biden has a "lot of experience" at diplomacy, how so? He's been mute for the most part on Russia and for God's sake called the Ukrainian people Iranians! Very diplomatic on the world stage !! I can't go on any further as my blood pressure is peaking as fast as Biden's approval rating is sinking....
  3. Pretty sure we agree on several points....yep it pretty shitty right now Yes, the world economy was shut down for a length of time due to the pandemic However, even though oil demand was low and prices reflected this, the US was energy independent! Actions were being taken to keep the US that way (Keystone pipeline for one). Biden cancelled all that on day one and made the US dependent on other countries for oil, now were paying at the pump for that decision. I guess the blame was on Trump for all the counties ills, but Biden and his administration get a pass as "that's how this usually plays out". How can one listen to a Biden or Harris speech or interview and be inspired or comfortable in their ability to lead?
  4. $ 5.41 for a gallon of diesel yesterday and I get 9 mpg in my one ton pick up truck...
  5. Please explain how Trump mismanaged the pandemic? And the trajectory of the Trump's economy prior to the world shutting down because of the pandemic was what??
  6. I love how when some point out any positive that Trump accomplished they turn to he's idolized, blindly adored or romanticized by that support. Hardly the case, he was NOT the ideal example of a leader but did have his strengths in many area. I believe because he wasn't a "politician" he rattled Washington and the democratic party deeply. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing. However, I feel that many that voted for Biden, even crossing party lines, had the intent to vote against Trump because they found him distasteful as a person. Well look what that got us, I cringe when Biden speaks and confuses "Iranian" and "Ukrainian" and the next day I believe stated that Putin invaded Russia... or when Harris described in elementary school language how Russia invaded the Ukraine. Harris is equally embarrassing as Trump ever was and together they are more dangerous than Trump. We heard for four years how Trump was going to lead us into WW3, crash the economy, be an embarrassment on the world stage. Yet, none of that came true during his tenure in office.....
  7. A woman I work with was a big Trump hater because of his "mean tweets", I asked her how she liked the current state of the country under Biden/Harris.... her response was "at least we have democracy back". I asked her to explain and I was told at least there were no more mean tweets. I'm still struggling on how that had an impact on the democratic process. I agreed that Trump was unpresidential, rude, condescending but was an effective leader in many areas.....Biden can't complete a competent statement and Harris with her demeaning tone and constant cackle response have driven us into a ditch as a country....All the negative things that many said Trump would lead this country into (war/energy prices/inflation/chaos) are coming true under Biden/Harris.... God Bless this land for democracy hath returned !!
  8. She just doesn't have "curb appeal" for me; then she opens her mouth to speak, or should I say, bray like an old mule and laugh...yuck !
  9. Yep, I'm with my third wife and she's 23 years younger than me....I love a good challenge !!
  10. I'm changing up my voting strategy for 2024; no longer will I follow party lines, evaluate personalities, potential policy or past political history. I'm voting for the "hottest" female P,VP or potential first lady !!!
  11. It's all about the context that's intended; is Trump saying that he agrees with Putin and his actions or that Putin was "genius" for they strategy he used with the invasion and a dig against Biden ?
  12. I wouldn't use it on an active one, but old old broken camera conspicuously placed makes great "bait"... that powder is nasty stuff to wash off and only time erases it..
  13. I am saddened by your update and will continue to keep your brother and entire family in our prayers. Best wishes and courage to all.... Dan
  14. Good luck I've never tried tapping trees, but have always been intrigued by the process... I think another member here make a limited amount of syrup yearly..
  15. Use it on the SD card and inside the "controls" when they open it up and take out the card it get onto their skin and spreads, if your hands are moist or you try to wipe it off it spreads even further. The exterior would hold the powder for a short time but elements will degrade the powder and ultimately wash it away....used inside on SD cards, controls and batteries it'll last...I used a old junk camera and know they would ultimately try new batteries and wonder why it wasn't working...I'm sure their hands were a mess for some time.
  16. I recommend the theft dust because there is no injury/booby trap; however that purple stain stays on your skin for a very long time, scrubbing normally makes it spread and its really hard to explain away...and it's pretty cheap. Use gloves yourself when using it and an old "decoy" camera is easy to come by from others...
  17. Very nice display from a very thoughtful friend....
  18. Place an old junk camera and enclosed blank SD card loaded inside with "sneak thief" dust and let'm have it!! That stains one's fingers and can't easily be washed off....they can explain every place they go why their fingers and hands are stained bright purple: Visible Stain Thief Detection Powder Great for home or work to catch thieves Depending upon your particular situation, visible stain detection may be preferable to ultraviolet detection in some cases. Visible stain thief detection powder is used to trap thieves by applying to objects likely to be stolen. After the protected item comes in contact with the skin, the body's amino acids react with the powder, creating a highly visible purple stain which can last up to several days.
  19. My neighbor's son just finished boot camp for the marines, scary times ahead for sure. Sincere wishes for safety for all our troops and thanks to their families as well...
  20. Big accomplishment and thank her and your family for her service...
  21. Response to a legitimate discussion: A veiled attempted to indicate that the statement was somehow racist: "This may be disturbing to some, but there is such a thing as a qualified black woman." State justifications that the conduct is acceptable because the other guy did it first: "How is this any different than Trump promising to appoint Supreme Court justices to overturn Roe v Wade?" Then engage in childish name call and attempt to belittle others: "Nothing outrageous or inappropriate. Bunch of dainty snowflakes." Then play the game that other guys must be acting like a victim to feel morally and intellectually superior: "It’s amusing to see it used against crying libs when conservatives are constantly crying about some (usually fictitious) sense of victimization." No post stated anyone felt victimized or attacked: "As a white dude, I don’t feel victimized or attacked by it in any way." Still didn't answer my simple yes or no question and then make the statement that blacks were wronged before so reverse discrimination is acceptable today: "I’d encourage you to consider the historical context that adds asymmetries to the counter example you propose. For far too long, black folks where legally not allowed to participate. Though those laws have been overturned, in far too many instances they remain in place de facto. His proclamation brings attention to this gap and I feel that it’s a positive step in the right direction." I guess by that reasoning it's accepted for a person in authority to make the statement they are providing a benefit to another based upon color and gender; but only if some other guy did it first, the person complaining is a whiney victim, and must have felt under attack, or justified to make up for prior egregious atrocities. I would like to hope we, as citizens, hold our elected officials to the highest moral, ethical and social standards; but I guess some don't feel that way and hypocritical actions are excused or explained away... Thank you all who responded maturely for a spirited debate on this thread.
  22. Northcountryman : Hey, I didn't use the term first !!
  23. If Trump did it it still doesn't make it right today....you never answered an earlier question. Would it be acceptable, under your way of thinking, for one to state that they are promoting, hiring or appointing a person based on gender and color if they said they were appointing a white male? Do you feel that's an acceptable statement in any workplace ? (that's a yes or no question without name calling, Trump said/did or any deflection or history lesson) Not a snowflake just fed up with hypocrisy in politics..
  24. It further amazes me that this has been given so many spins from my original post; from: some feel there isn't a viable black female, Trump said or did, other presidents did the same political posturing and on and on.....prior wrongs don't make that statement correct. My point was how does a sitting president who ran on the ticket of equality for all make the statement that he is making an appointment to the highest court based upon color and gender ? There is NO SPINNING THAT and it is wrong ! Somehow the Biden fans feel that's ok and attempt to defend the statement. It's divisive, and further creates divide on both sides of the isle.....If in any workplace in the US one made the statement they were hiring or promoting based upon color and gender that'd be a lawsuit with lawyers drooling. Yes, I think Biden is a week ineffective leader and his health is a question, Trump was most likely the most unpresidential president in history and I never made it through one of his speeches...not a fan of either as a leader.....
