  1. Anyone see the followup video about Alex Jones after he left the CNN building he was "harassed" by undercover cops?
  2. I agree doc there has to be more to the story. But I've experienced similar situations with BOA. I could understand their policy if it is a new account to prevent kiting the money. But I've deposited large amounts of $$$ in escrow several times a year for closings. Each time BOA would tell me I have to wait up to 2 weeks before it is made available and everytime I need to speak to a manager and tell them it is for a closing in a few days if they don't release it then I'm taking my business elsewhere. Then they release it immediately. Getting tired of this and started looking to move my business accts elsewhere.
  3. Not sure where to post this but this is RIDICULOUS!! They just lost my business . . . http://www.newsmax.com/TheWire/gun-bank-of-america-account-frozen/2013/01/08/id/470468

  6. Lets see some pics... On second thought never mind. LOL! Civil Litigation attorney - in my own practice since 1995.
  7. That was me last year. I got nothing despite going up many times. Needless to say I went through venison withdrawal. This past season I made up for it.

  9. It was my first time making it and I didnt want to hide the flavor of the venison which is why I kept it simple. I like the idea of the onion soup mix. I may try that next time.
  10. Guess you didn't get my invite in the PM I sent Oh well... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. This morning I decided to make pulled venison. After thawing out a 3lb rump roast overnight, I removed the silvery skin, washed it up and patted it dry. I put together a rub consisting of paprika, salt, pepper and some Thyme in a bowl. Mixed it up and started rubbing it on the venison. I cut up some onions and layered the bottom of my crock pot. Added the venison, added some water just below the top of the venison, covered it and set it on high. Eight ours later, i come home and the house smells wonderful. I shred the venison as its steaming hot. I dump most of the liquid and then return the venison to the pot. I add just a few dabs of Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce and mixed it up and let it simmer for 1/2 hour on low. Served it up on kaiser roles. Few glasses of homemade wine later. It was scrumpdelicious! 12. A six year old boy who made a gun gesture with his thumb and index finger and saying "pow" was suspended. http://news.yahoo.com/maryland-school-suspends-six-old-120614503.html What a ridiculous knee jerk overreaction by the school administration. It's a really sad society we live in when 6 year old kids can't be kids. They could have handled it a lot differently -- like just chalking it up to being a "6 y.o.". We used to play cops and robbers or cowboys and Indians and shot at each other with any object we could find pretending to be guns. As one person stated in the comments, this is just more "dumbing down of America". Maybe they would not have overreacted if the kid just did this .
  13. Happy Birthday Doc! I hope you enjoy your day!
  14. Nice WNY! Here are some in my area from last spring. My blind was just to the left of the picture. Never made it out there last May due to my illness at the time. I'm hoping this guy is still around come May 1st.
  15. Yup I've seen it several times but it never gets old.
  16. Welcome to the brotherhood! Spring Turkey hunting is the most exciting hunting there is. There are so many decoys out there to choose from. In the spring I use a strutting B-mobile Tom and a two hens spaced around the Tom. If you can get some movement in the Tom that will bring in a hung up gobbler. I am in the process of building a decoy stake that can be moved with the use of a wireless remote control. Just some slow left or right movement will have them running into my setup (I hope ) As far as calls, box calls I think are the easiest to learn. As a beginner I would stay away from mouth diaphragm calls. Very difficult to learn but once you get the pitch right they work great and free up your hands. Do a search on youtube for "turkey calling". There are some good instructional videos on there. There are only 120 days left before Spring Turkey. So if you go with the mouth calls start practicing a little everyday. Thats how i learned. Good luck and have fun practicing.
