Happy Birthday Pygmy !

The wife and I were going to drive to Ft Meyers , Florida March 17 to spend a week and then drive to Orlando to spend a week at a Time Share . I finally got the wife to agree to postpone the trip . We will lose out on our Time Share week but I believe it the best thing to do . I am 78 and my wife is 77 . No sense in taking chances at our age .

Don't go up any steep hills with very much weight on the carrier . Speaking from experience .

I had a Daisy Pump BB gun . Neighbor kids had Daisy Red Ryders and a couple kids had single shots . We use to have BB gun wars with no safety glasses or anything safety wise . It's a wonder we didn't get an eye shot out . If you ran for shelter in an Out house , that wasn't safe as the enemy would shoot through the vent holes and you could get hit with a ricochet BB . The kids with the single shots would keep 3 or 4 BBs in their mouth so they could reload faster . Once in a while they would swallow one or two BBs . We all bought our BBs at Sy Linton's General Store in East Groveland .

When I was a kid we use to buy them in packs similar to those .

If the blades on the mechanicals don't fold back up when the arrow is pulled out , they aren't legal .

I have been using The Hunter Safety Harness for years . I have two of them . I keep one of the cheap harness'es in my backpack in case I forget the Hunter Safety System harness .

We got hit hard with almost 2 inches of Lake Effect snow . The NEWS station said Wolcott got 12 inches of snow .

I ordered some 25 grain weights to try on my arrows to give it a little more FOC weight . It is less expensive to do this than to buy new broadheads and field points . I hope I can get the inserts out without screwing up any arrow shafts .

Too much awesome things to see that you wouldn't experience on a hunt . The ride into Denali Park was long and spectacular . We rode the bus half the time and stayed in different towns . The heliocopter to a glacier and drinking water up there was neat . Visited two different places where they raced dogs to run the Iderod . Rode a raft through an area and saw dozens of eagles . So many choices of food on the ship and made friends with some New Zelanders . I don't care to travel but this trip with site seeing was a great experience . The only thing I shot was pictures with my camera .

My wife and I did the Alaska Cruise a couple years ago . It was a 16 day deal . The worst part was the air flights with delays . Half of the tour was on land and that was the best part for sight seeing . The food aboard ship was awesome . No regrets .
