I have done this near the garden and bird feeders and caught several chipmunks . Just a bucket of water , sunflower seeds and a ramp .

I ordered the "rolling mouse trap" from EBAY for $10.99 with free shipping . I should get it by May 1 . I could make one but for $10.99 , what the heck ........

I like this idea but imagine anti-freeze would need to be added in the winter months ...

A few years ago , I was Turkey hunting at my son's property in Italy Valley . I heard what sounded like someone down below trying to start up a tractor . I wondered why the guy didn't fix the thing but was then told that it was a Grouse drumming . Felt pretty foolish .

I had mice in my lawn mower over the winter and cleaned out a big nest . I decided to change the spark plug in my Honda Forman ATV and clean the battery terminals . Lo and behold there was a mouse nest back by the battery and there was some chewed wires . I broke out the electrical tape and did a minor repair . I placed some Moth Balls ( the male moths weren't happy ) in a few areas in and around locations on the ATV . I don't know if they will deter any mice or not . I looked up some electronic deterrants and they appear to be pretty much useless . Has anyone had any luck on getting rid of outside mice ? I have the mower and the ATV stored in separate sheds .

I think I paid around $85 for it . It has a nice case and looks like a Bible case . It does the trick and it is quite compact . I bought it to keep in my car as I park off road when hunting and didn't want to take a chance on getting stranded .

I walked along in a field next to my SIL's woods when I spotted some deer come out into the neighbor's pasture lot from a wooded area about 600+ yards away . . I had been out checking trail cams . I stepped back into the thick area and got out my Canon Power Shot SX130 that has a pretty good zoom . The 1st picture I took was with the deer about 300 yards out . The lead deer came to almost 100 yards and I spooked it when I moved . I didn't realize there was a ladder stand out there as the neighbor cannot climb . Also came upon an attack cat !

Not to hi-jack the thread but ...... I need a lawn mower battery . The one in my Troy-Bilt Bronco is a measly 150 amp battery . I looked at batteries on several sites - WalMart , Lowes , Home Depot and Tractor Supply . The ratings on the batteries was pretty bad . The battery I have is not up to par and could eventually kill the starter . I am amazed at the horrible reviews ! I wonder how the ATV batteries will fare .

Still waiting for some Trail Cam pictures placed facing the hole . Then again , if the OP dropped a gopher bomb in the hole maybe nothing survived . I bet a lot of the ethical self righteous posters on this thread would take out the yote if if was 40 yards from their cabin .
