I wanted something waterproof to wear around working , etc and bought a pair of Wolverine boots . I have only had them for a couple weeks but find them very comfortable . They were originally $149.99 at DICKs but I got them on clearance at $74.97 and used a $15 coupon so they only cost me $60 and tax . Not much of a review but so far they are comfortable .

Woods are a real mess

I usually call or text my 2 sons that hunt and send a picture .

Had to remove a sign on South Slocum and hadn't realized they were out of power . Same on Clevenger road . So many people south of Rt 104 without power and no telling when they will get it back . A lot of generators running in those areas .

There was a mob of drivers at Fastrack with gas cans . Getting gas for the generators and chain saws . The guy at Tractor Supply said he was getting most of the calls for generators and chain saws .......

Power went out yesterday and the whole house generator came on . Yippie . The regular power was back on in about 5 minutes . We lost cable and the Internet and were without it until around 4 pm today . Furnace Road in Ontario was shut down due to trees in the road . I had to take a detour in order to get out this am . I had to get my blood checked and forgot how stupid drivers can be . When the signal lights are out , drivers are supposed to stop like it is a 4 way stop and some don't . I stopped on Rt 104 by basket road in Webster and started to pull out . Some jerk heading south on Basket Road never stopped and if I hadn't been cautious , the guy would have T-boned my vehicle . Saw a lot of drivers not stopping at the signal lights . I wonder if they are aware of the driving regulations .

Doc , does it change for Daylight Saving Time ?

A few years ago I was BBQing on the patio . Had to wait for the unit to cool before putting the cover back on . Forgot about it . 2-3 days later it was forecasted to snow and thought I had better put the cover on . It was gone . It had been windy for a couple days . Either one of the neighbors got it or it ended up in Williamson or farther East . ......... Another lesson learned the hard way ! I also have to either do more repairs on the Grill or buy a new one .

Thanks . I tried everything and couldn't get it to work . I plugged and unplugged several times and also tried it with the computer . No go . The mini disc that comes with it for the computer was also worthless .

I would have expected that from Pygmy . He would probably use it on himself !

I bought an Endoscope on EBAY . Thought it would be neat for looking down rifle / shotgun barrels . I tried everything and could not get the damn thing to work . Downloaded Camera Fi and it will not show the camera connected so it is pretty much worthless . It wasn't that expensive so I am not out that much . It just irks me that it doesn't work . I thought it would be a fun item . Live and learn !

I leave my gas grill out all year round . The last cover only lasted 3 years . Bought a new one on clearance last fall for about $8 . Now I have a difficult time finding the grill .

Why not carve a couple of wood ducks !

There are directions , instructions and diagrams in the New York Outdoor News showing how to make them . I think they tell how to make them Raccoon Proof .

I have done that with a "Driveway Patrol" alert . It can be purchased for about $10 with coupon at Harbor Freight . The sensor takes a 9 volt battery and the receiving unit takes 3 "D" cells . I covered the sending unit with camo tape and spray it with scent blocker . So far , it hasn't given me any advantage except for spotting a trespasser . Take 3 screws out of the receiver , cut wires to speaker , tape ends and re-assemble .

No . The pic was taken by some guys that were chasing a Yote near Atlantic Avenue and Wayne / Monroe County Line Road . I think the guy taking the picture shot the yote afterwords .

I was able to watch Episode One of the 1st season on Amazon Prime for free but then would have to pay to watch more . I will wait until my niece gets Roku and watch more episodes . David Morse who plays Big Foster gets stereotyped into playing a villain in almost everything he is in and he is good at that !

I bought a selfie stick for my wife at Tractor Supply the other day so she can take it on her trips . It was originally $4.99 but on clearance for 99 cents . Not a bad item . I was at Tractor Supply and bought another one . They had 20% off on clearance and then another 10% off on total purchase . I hunt alone most of the time and have no one to take pics so I thought this might be a handy item to put in the backpack . It's about 9" long and won't take up much room . Not bad for 75 cents !
