The Macedon Store had some of the spring type dog house blinds on clearance fo $25 . I already have 2 of them . Bought some camo burlap 12' X 54" for less than $4 . Picked up a set of saw horses for $18 . I still have another $65 left on TCS gift cards .

I really don't need anything but I find it difficult to pass up a bargain . I seldom shot at Gander Mountain as I find DICK's and Field & Stream to be cheaper . If I can't find what I want at those stores , I may try Gander Mountain .. I was considering buying a pair of Muck Boots as I have heard a lot of good things about them . However , they donate a lot to the SPCA of which I do not support so I passed on them . As for Guide Gear boots . I havn't purchased the boots questioned above but I have bought their hunting boots before . All I can say is they are fair and you get what you pay for . They don't last as long as boots like Rocky , etc ..

I have never been able to take pics alone except for the picture in my profile photo . I GOOGLED how to set the timer for my Samsung S5 phone and was able to figure out how to set it for 10 seconds . I will have to give it a try sometime when out hunting .

30-06 Outdoor Ladder Stand Second Man Winch

I have done almost all of my single stands alone . It's no biggie . Do like Culvercreek posted above . The hardest part is when putting the stand up , I grab the foot support part and walk it up and sometimes its slips so I take a 2' wide 2"X4" with a couple holes drilled in it for tent stakes and put the bottom of the ladder against it to keep it from slipping . My son puts the top part against the tree and moves the ladder up . That seems easier for him . If you aren't in a hurry , wait for help .

I got some 270 brass that Bubba had resized for 25-06 and it worked great . As for the original post , I never heard of stainless media .

The camera was under the raised back deck that has a roof over it . Camera and case were dry and everything works . Every once in a while I get lucky . The killer was the fact that I had been within 3 -4 feet of it several times and never noticed it . After finding it , I put an ITAG in the case so I can track it . Any cases that would fit this camera are either black or gray or oversized !

I want to get mine co-registered with one of my sons before I do the recertification . He is in Monroe and I am in Wayne .

The WalMart at Baytown doesn't carry archery items because it is considered a city store but it carries gun ammo . Go figure !

Well , back to the topic , they don't seem to make things last like they used to do . I bought a 7 cu ft chest freezer from Sears a few years ago to store my venison . I went down to the basement to get some venison and condensation dripped from the top when I opened it . It freezer had quit and the venison had to be tossed out . Don't know how long it had been out of commission . The warranty was for 12 months . The freezer had lasted 13 months . I replaced it with another and put a thermometer in there and have the receiver by my computer . It's at 9 degrees right now . We have a GIBSON upright freezer that we bought in either 1969 or 1970 that is still working fine ( I hope I didn't just jinx it ) . I had my snow blower crap out 2 or 3 seasons ago . It conked out and the engine was froze . Couldn't even pull the starter cord and it had an electric start . I always check the oil and it was fine . I bought a new replacement and shopping around . A couple of dealers told me that they only expect them to last so many run hours . I think over the years that we have been driven to accept the fact that whatever we purchase won't have a long expected life . And of course when we buy things the clerks usually ask if you want to purchase an extended warranty .
