It's not easy being a Bills fan . I have been one for years . There are a few games that they should have won this year but failed to do so . Injured players and poor tackling did them in .... . When the running game works and you pass or punt , it doesn't help . Plus miss communications and only 10 defensive players on the field ..WTH ! Rex has a 5 year contract and if he is let go .. the Pegulas owe him for three more years . You can't keep getting different coaches every two years and expect to win . They usually suck with the draft also . They draft players that get injured in training camp and then maybe play half of the scheduled games . Their GM hasn't done much in the 7 years that he has been in that position . The Bills Make Me Want To Pout !

Quite often I think there must be a fine line between sitting 15 feet in a stand in the cold freezing air calling it hunting or calling it stupid !

I got another box of 40 pair of hand warmers with a few packs of the toe warmers . I already had a full box plus a box of 10 pair and I havn't finished another box so I have over 100 pair of hand warmers now . I think my family wants me to stay outside ! My wife got a Tee Shirt for me that says McDonald's Hunting Camp ... Ontario , NY . She got Tee shirts for my sons and grand kids that have Honeoye Falls for the Hunting Camp .

I have 12+ years on you so you still have plenty of time to keep at it Sonny .......

I guess in your situation , that is the way to go . I hope I never lose the passion and desire to hunt ... no matter the weather conditions . When that happens I will probably be in a box being lowered into the ground . I have often wondered how many more years I can keep this up but each year I get back out there . Nothing like the adrenaline rush when a deer approaches and you might get a shot . When this stops I will probably give up my Blaze Orange Walker !

I have two of those but mine have a cheaper sheath . They work like a zipper !

For hunting I got money , gift cards , a heated coffee cup with a heat sensor , a Leatherman Skeletool and a Mini Orion Live Feed LCD Screen Drone ( wife bought that for me ) . I bought a cheap drone at Fastrack last week and the wife asked why i bought it . I said I have never used anything with a remote and it would be fun to experiment with and if I liked it I might get a much better one with a camera . . The reason she was upset is that she had already bought one with a camera a couple months ago .

I havn't watched any hunting shows in a few years . I could never stand to listen to Hank Parker with his C'mere Deer crap . He always sounded like a $hit salesman with a mouth full of samples ! Another guy I couldn't stand is Jackie Bushwhacker ! What a wuss !

Some of the guys that posted on this thread could have been Xerox Managers . I say that because when we had something that worked , some manager would want to "fix" it . Personally , I am fine with what we have now and don't see a need to change anything but ...... what suits my needs doesn't necessarily work for others . I like the lengthy Bow Season but don't support Full Inclusion of Crossbows ( even though I bought one this year ) . We have something that works ..... Leave it alone .

I have a Samsung S-5 phone and have the OtterBox Defender case . Works great . I caught the case on my seatbelt and broke the clip on the back . What you will see now won't be the same next October . The deer tend to change their pattern depending on the food sources available to them . Scouting now will be of some help knowing where their bedding areas are ( if you don't already know that ) . As for sheds , that might be a couple months . Wooly would be the best person to know that as he is a dedicated shed hunter .

After the Holidays are over , I plan to start shooting my compound in the basement over the winter months and do some reloading . I still have to go to my sister in laws property in Geneseo and remove a Dog House Blind . I might even remove the hub blind on my raised platform rather than leave it out all year . I will do this when it warms up a bit as I don't want to do it when it is freezing and the material would be brittle . I also need to clean up my den in the basement and sort out a lot of "stuff" . If only I can get my Butt unglued from this chair !

The only time I remove my sling is at the range . I always leave it attached when hunting .
