According to the Aug 19 Issue of the NY Outdoor News , the anterless only restriction for the 1st 2 weeks of Archery Season has been scrapped .

Warning --- For anyone starting to do any reloading .Do Not use any of the reloading information on here . These loads have been worked up and may not be suitable for your rifle or pistol and could be dangerous and cause injury . Get a reloading book . Start at the lower load and work your way up . Be Safe !

I reload for myself as well as my sons . For me , I reload for the NEF 25-06 using 117 gr Sierra SP (#1630) and 53 gr of H4831 . Have taken several deer with this load . I was using Remington Core-bonds but they were too pricey ( over $30 a box) . I also loaded for my Contender 7-30 waters using 130 gr Sierra 7 mm SSPB #7250 and 32 gr of H335 . I didn't use the Contender much but shot a doe with a reload that I hadn't fire formed yet but it did the job . I reload for two of my sons that have 270's . I had them both try a reload in their rifles to make sure they would fit and not stick in their chambers as not all chambers are exactly the same even in the same brand of rifle . Anyway I use the 130 gr Sierra Game King (#1820)and 57 gr of Reloader 19 . Both sons have taken deer with these reloads ..240 gr Hornaday XTP with 23.5 gr of Winchester 296 . I prefer using CCI primers in all of my reloading .

I would be leery about being right on the edge of the plot . Remember , there may be some cover with the vegetation now but come October 1st the leaves could be gone and you might stick out . Apparently you are limited to 2 choices . My past experience has been that the deer feed in a plot or field but prefer to travel along the edge near a woods or hedge row . I would go with the farther tree .

The best and most comfortable boots I ever had for hunting were Rocky Corn Stalkers . They lasted several years and wore out . I bought another pair that was new and improved and they were terrible . Most of the time I wear knee high rubber boots when deer hunting but that is on mostly flat land . They would be worthless on hilly terrain .

They are laughing over the fact that they have pulled the wool over the eyes of so much of the population . The picture reminds me of Hollywood Squares . Al Sharpton or George Soros should probably be the middle square .
