Gun Control. It has already started at Gander Mountain Sporting Goods. It’s been some time since I last went shooting, but after a year of traveling around the world with my wife, I decided to pick up the hobby again. I went down to the nearest firearm provider to pick up some supplies. Just accessories – I already had a rack full of guns, but none of the ammo. I was hoping it would just be a quick in and out. I found what I needed pretty fast (even with my eyesight) and approached the counter. When I was ready to pay for my purchases of gun powder and bullets, the cashier said, “Strip down, facing me.” Making a mental note to complain to the NRA about the gun control wackos running amok, I did just as she had instructed. When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to how I should place my credit card in the card-reader. I have been asked to shop elsewhere in the future. They need to make their instructions to us seniors a little clearer!I STILL DON’T THINK I LOOKED THAT BAD.

Culver --- American Eagle 22 ammo has always been 40 per box . I found that out in the last century when I bought a brick at Dunhams in Southtown Plaza . About 10 years ago , I gave away almost a brick of Remington Thunderbolt 22 ammo . It was the dirtist 22 ammo that I had ever shot . It really dirtied up my Ruger pistol .

THe Yard of Ale is in Piffard . I used to live about 200 yards from there when it was the Colonial Inn .

The National Hotel in Leicester has always had excellent food . I have eaten there on several occasions .

Most of the farmers around here would welcome a person to shoot woodchucks on their farm property . I did this back in 1990 and got permission to shoot chucks . Then I got a couple of calls from farmers asking me if I would kill some on their property . I quit doing it when gas got up to $4 a gallon .

When my kids were small , we camped a few times at Wellesley Island and enjoyed it . I havn't been there in over 30 years so I don't know how much it has changed . My daughters like fishing off the dock and the boys liked fishing from a row boat . We never caught anything big but the kids had fun so that made it enjoyable .

I just hope the rain doesn't turn to snow ! lol

Same here . We have been running the AC for a few weeks . Came home from a B'day party and the Gas Stove was on . 47 degrees outside .... 64 inside . I am comfortable .

Went to the Auditorium last night to see the "In The Mood" musical . Driving down RT 590 was rough . It was raining so hard you could hardly see . It let up for a while and rained quite a bit last night and has been raining today . I might have to buy a boat !

Should have waited . Pretty soon you'll be able to shoot a muzzle loader during bow season .

I was walking down to change the SD cards in a couple of cameras and came across this young buck . He didn't spook and was a bit inquisitive . Looks like his rack is starting to grow . He was about 40 yards away .... did the head bob ... took a few steps toward me and walked across the laneway and left . Didn't run .

I think I have it figured out ...........
