    Unless you are going to reload , don't go with a 25-06 . I have one and the ammo is almost twice the price of a 270 . Target practice ? Probably a 22 .

    Had to do some driving today and didn't see any drop in gas prices . Checked GAS BUDDY also ........no drop in prices other than the Sunday bit

    I had a guy tell me that when he is outside working and the black flies are out and about that he would put a dryer sheet under his cap and that kept them away . Anyone do this ?

    These little bastards were out in full force this afternoon . Even though there were several wet spots in the back yard , I managed to mow the lawn . I couldn't get done fast enough . The black flies were horrible ! They serve no purpose on this planet !

    I feel for the father and his family but don't agree with him . No matter what they do to make things safer , people complain . People don't want to be patted down but want to be safe . Someone pats down a 6 year old girl and gets chastized for it . "The guy's a pervert" , blah , blah , blah . UBL is dead but we aren't any safer . We still need security .......

    I was in the Webster Lowes today checking out their Backup systems . A fellow who works for Gerber Construction said to stay away from the Battery operated backup and go with the water pressure one . He said he has been doing plumbing for over 25 years and has installed several water pressure backups and replaced several battery b/u's with the water pressure ones . Thanks for the help !
