I know rifle does not open till Saturday but is anyone hunting bow in 4H and if so seeing signs of the rut ? I'm just curious for Saturdays opening of rifle !

Sitting in my Ladder Stand with a buddy in his climber about 100 yards away , about 8:30 he climbs down and pushes to me . Later after breakfast we swap and I push to him ! Usually successful - hopefully LOL !

25 minute drive to my hunting property (4H).... or just hunt the powerline next door to the house (4B) .... have DMP's in both thankfully !

Just Curious .... what might be the average distance for a shot taken in the southern zone . I myself have not taken a shot over 100 yards in quite a few years . Luckily deer are aplenty where I hunt .
