    I think that once they changed opening day from Monday to Saturday changed the pattern of hunters being in the woods on the first opening days ! Now instead of three weekends to hunt we have four so that has to (hopefully) increase the outcome .

    The sight bridge and whole trigger mechanism cracked in half , and yes the scope fell off after I took a practice shot !

    I used one of these last year (and quite a few years before ) and on three occasions called in Coyote's ! I wasn't hunting Coyote's but they came in anyway , due to me moving I couldn't get a shot !

    You need to put on some drives , they seem too help when things get quiet ! Wearing lots of Orange comes into play !

    Nailed a coyote on opening day prior to getting my Doe ! Mangy little thing !

    Filled a DMP opening morning with a nice big Doe , a buddy nailed a 5 pointer around the same time . Seems to be plenty of Doe's around but not seeing too many Bucks . Didn't hear a lot of shots fired ! Durham area .

    Hate to say it but a gut pile ! I've never seen a gut pile from a deer last more than one day in the woods I hunt . I realize gut piles are not readily available and probably does not help with your question but its just an observation !

    I filled one of my DMP's on opening day and will hopefully fill them all soon without regards to getting a buck ... never had horn soup but plenty of Tag soup !
