I just sold an old 30-06 because I inherited a 270 .... but what do I know LOL !

I had a couple of built-ins years ago but I had the screw in steps (my property) , I currently have a ladder stand but will be putting in a built-in after this season --- I miss the built in ! If you pick the right spot they produce year after year !

170 grain is a fine choice and good on deer ! Been shooting 150/170 grain out of my 30-30 for 30 plus years and never a problem !
