Yeah it's probably the same one, I found it cheaper on ebay and ordered from there. I might have to check out that bedliner.

Well the way the market is there's not much new inventory out there especially if your looking for select colors, trims etc... but then again I didn't want to haggle the price on the Ram considering we are in a unique market and I made out real good on my old lease. Being i had more then 4 months remaining on my Rangers lease term i was able to capitalize on lease equity and walk away with a pretty penny in my pocket. In a typical market you would ride out the old lease term and then go into new lease and not see any equity. But with the used car market the way it is and if you time it correctly there's money to be made on leases. I put zero down on the Ram, 1st month along with taxes and registration were included in my monthly. Also got a full tank of gas and couple cups of coffee .lol..drove 4 hours to the dealer (close to the cabin so passed by there on way home to check on things), picked up truck, signed some papers and they handed me a nice check . I was able to complete 90% of this transaction over the phone, sign and drive at its best.

I had a trifold soft cover on my Ranger and loved it, was so easy to take on and off or just fold back, went with same for the ram only difference is it folds 4 times (larger bed).

Lease. No liner, I have a heavy duty bed matt and a tourneau cover is ordered.

I belive those mirrors are an option, it's gonna take time for me to get use to them, they do help with blind spots and when your towing.

The problem is if your family doesn't come thru, your friend could potentially get a bad taste, find a new investment and walk away. Now your back to square one and missed out on sure thing cash deal. Don't screw yourself, go with who gives best offer and can close faster. This is business and your livelihood, your family should understand. It's not like it's one of your kids, that's different.

I dont think the recognition or sponsorship back in the 60s was as lucrative as it is today. Don't think he would have gotten rich off that rack.

This is my buck from this past bow season, a big boy and was probably up there weight wise (unfortunately never weighed), have shot a few through the years that were bigger. One of my biggest racked bucks a late season muzzlelaoder kill and he was by far the thinnest of them all, big rack but he was run down.

NYBowhunter replied to grampy's topic in Deer Hunting
Just an FYI, I almost never gut my deer where they are shot, I don't like to gut on my property in an effort to not entice predators. I always bring the deer back whole to the cabin, gut there and throw the entrails into a compost pile. Never had an issue using this method, but then again from time of shot , back to the cabin and deer gutted is typically within the hour. -

Let's not forget the brain, quite the delicacy. Won't go out of my way to make or eat it but when my dad was alive he would on occasion make rocky mountain oysters and cappuzelle from the deer, both of which were quite good. -
