The Branch is very excited to announce the upcoming education event. The topic will be "Deer Management in New York". It will be presented by Jeremy Hurst - Biologist at DEC's Central Office in Albany and Art Kirsch - Senior Biologist at DEC's Region 8 Office. There has been a lot of interest in understanding NY's approach to deer management, what the future holds and we believe this lecture will provide some insight. It will be on March 23rd at the Rush Henrietta, Burger Middle School at 639 Erie Station Rd, West Henrietta, New York 14586. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. The lecture will start promptly at 7:pm and after a question and answer period, will conclude at 9:00 pm. This event is open to the public and is free. Seating will be limited to the capacity of the Auditorium so don't get there late. Hope to see you there.

have you done any chronograph work with that load?
-
Weird. Maybe wildcat can chime in. I would have never expected to see that in a mid range load. Are the primers going in with very little effort with that brass?
-
Personally I would FL size for that gun if new or range pickups. But once fired in it I would just neck size. How much growth are you seeing in your case lengths? You trimming?
-
ok. I meant more of the model... single shot, bolt, pump or semi?
-
pressure signs at mid-range? What brass and gun? I guess you are talking about your 243?
-
what gun is it?
-
An old Winchester in 45-70 is on my bucket list.

I am sure this was covered in the reloading manual you picked up. I would reread the section for a refresher. What Shawn said is correct and once you find that best grouping range you can further narrow the powder weight down to bring it in even more. Part of the fun of reloading.

I love mine. I really makes rough sighting in a two shot endeavor. Cross hairs on the bull. take a shot. re align cross hairs to bull and secure gun. adjust scope until the cross hairs are over the first bullet hole. ready for fine tuning. Stabile. easy to carry and I have never had a problem with any POI changes out to 300 yards in a range situation after getting it dialed in on the sled. Even using sand bags after that. I have never used it out past that 300 yard mark.

2016 Hunting Leases
Culvercreek hunt club replied to C-H Brad's topic in Land For Sale, Lease, and Requests
one word......................taxes. Basically the leases cover their tax costs. I would imagine it is averaged across all their property to make it easy. I think mine is around $25 and acre.- 10 replies

but you haven't shot it? Take it for what it is worth. I wouldn't recommend loading a bunch of any one load until you see if your gun even likes it.

2016 Hunting Leases
Culvercreek hunt club replied to C-H Brad's topic in Land For Sale, Lease, and Requests
I don't think the prices are that bad. I lease from C-H. It is NOT just a hunting lease. It is year round use. My lot is around 110 acres- 10 replies

Is that a proven recipe for your gun?

I believe if you look into it, he ended up being off the preserve and the lion was lured out. That was shy he was cleared of all charges. So not illegal from the hunters perspective.

Typically nuisance permits require a damage assessment at some point. lodging a complaint may make them reevaluate it. Then again it may be ignored, but not contacting them assures nothing will be done.

I may be looking at this in a far too simplistic manner but I would think so. They need apple to do it. I would think the decryption could be done under the same security and precautions they take in it's development. I see it like this. Apple writes it at their place. the feds show up with the phone. Apple spits out the data or just unlocks it under the supervision of the Feds to assure evidence history Feds leave with data and the phone. Apple decides whether to keep or trash the program. accomplices are arrested.
