  1. I suggest that if you are behind this, send some letters and emails to your Rep.s
  2. I like the fact that fines automatically double if a youth is present.
  3. I just PM'd you my address. send me a check for a new Keyboard, Mine is covered in coffee with that comment. LMAO
  4. But isn't that the draw that I hear so many voice for bow hunting? Getting them as close as possible? I would think a head/neck shot at that close of a range would minimize any meat damage and save the #5 between your molars while chewing. no?
  5. The power line probably has a Right of Way (ROW) for the utility only. I would get parcel information and copies of deed and tax map from the clerk. There may very well be a ROW with the parcel you are looking at but it isn't guaranteed. You may be able to purchase one from one of the bordering landowners though. If it is truly land locked you have no right to cross others landowners property unless they grant it. If they hunt it is probably theirs by default since the your current owner can't get in there.
  6. Because society ends up bearing the cost of their stupidity in real dollars. Unfortunately.
  7. "small dog' ----Isn't that just a cat that barks?
  8. Part of our Societal problem is we have taken up legislating and engineering Darwinism out of equation.
  9. I don't understand why they don't make it so it mounts right on you gun. that way you can move to aim and shoot and the decoy screen is always between you and the gobbler. That is one cool deal.
  10. My Father told me that was the reason I was born.
  11. I've never shot a deer that I couldn't get within about 50' of. I love 50' drags...lol
  12. I guess I don't get it. Can we agree on a couple things. Can't use them on State land---Illegal. Can't shoot from them= illegal ( unless you have a special permit for disability). With that said who am I or anyone else to tell a hunter what their experience should be, the amount of effort that should be put in or any other host of "if you don't do it like me you aren't doing it right" comments I see on here every year. Who gives a rats rear end as long as they are within the laws, I say get out there by any means you want, enjoy your time and good luck. Virgil hit in on the head, they are on private land everyone should mind their own damned business. (this was in general and not bashing your comment)
  13. I would think there are more overweight hunters that don't ride than do. (for the record at 250 doesn't have to be over weight and out of shape. Not everyone is a 5' tall midget. lol No offense Pygmy)
  14. I think the term "lazy hunter" is "over used" by those feeling the need to have a disillusion of superiority.
  15. I wouldn't own one without 4x4 and independent rear suspension. Gun rack. No shifting required. 500 cc or larger. front and rear racks. 2" receiver hitch. aggressive tire tread. winch. 12v power port. continuous foot resting surface and NOT just pegs.
  16. I have an '03 500 that I bought new and it has been a hard starting pig in the cold since day one. Usually kicks over fine but you have to babysit it until it warms up so it doesn't stall. Once it is warm it pops right over and idles like a champ.
  17. chainsaws........ for them or against them?
  18. I have had that happen to me in years prior. If there are hens with them and they are not paying attention to you now because the girls are there, you have the perfect scenario to score late in the season if you don't over pressure them now. As soon as the gals quit the courting ritual and go to nest, They will be prime for the plucking. In the last week of the season they easier to target especially in the later morning. IMO
  19. Wasn't worth a life, that is for sure. I will be the fist to say the Govt. is way to deep in our business and I have very little trust of the system left, but I can't imagine resisting even an unlawful traffic stop or vehicle search. You gotta just know it is going to escalate if you resist.
  20. As I have said before. Live within your means. Forcing an artificially high minimum wage will do nothing to help these folks. All the increases in the cost of doing business will be passed on to the consumer. The people that will really be hurt at the people that are currently making at or just above the selected new minimum.
