A ML is super sonic. A cross bow isn't and given the noise difference between the crossbow and a compound I think most people have this issue with your account of your hunt. It was very fortunate that the deer stayed put for you. a small movement of 6" could have cost you that deer in the time of release and bolt flight.

Can you explain this just in case there are some new muzzle loader users out their so there isn't any confusion about weight vs volume.

I am in Rush, I should be fine, but thanks for the offer. They haven't even started to come in for the Fall. Should get plenty then.

I use this one without issue. Checks perfectly with my balance beam scale. I trickle into it and I do find that it react quicker if I trickle into the center of the pan. (Boy that sounds like a typical 50 year old problem...lol) http://www.midwayusa.com/product/175512/frankford-arsenal-ds-750-electronic-powder-scale-750-grain-capacity?cm_vc=ProductFinding

Oh don't be silly, Do you really expect people to understand the regulations and season dates and be REPSONSIBLE for their own actions? Come on, it is way over the top to expect someone that wants to hunt with a specific weapon to show a little self restraint and save a tag for that season. You must know that if a deer walks out there is no choice other than you MUST shoot it?

Canned venison is great and a very good way to take it into places with no refrigeration. Very tender out of sub par cuts and many many uses. My main canning projects are Venison Salsa applesauce peaches 4 different pickles chicken I was going to can some salmon but struck out on the Sunday charter.

I use my fly rod with a fly attached. Split shot about a foot up and the barb on the hook pinched closed. They stay on the hook because of their weight. Easy to get off and not getting wet picking them out of the water -
kinds like our NZ. And I wasn't really kidding for the really problem areas. Archery can't get it done

get your hands on HOT garlic. It makes a wonderful pickle. Does she trim off the blossom end of the cuke and used pickle crisp?

Gotta get yourself an old sewing machine. Hit the garage sales. I saw a buddy make one and it worked great for next to nothing.
-
You spinning them by hand or with a machine?

Kids just aren't trained like they were when I was growing up. What ever happened to the Generation that could drive, drink a beer, smoke a cig and still turn around and slap the crap out of the kids in the back seat for fighting....at highway speeds. Good ole' multitasking. -
Man I was a criminal as a kid...lol. We used to shoot ducks on the canal in CNY every fall. Some nice hunting where the Mohawk River ties in below each lock.

Letting The G/F Shoot My Guns Question

Do you have a more detailed section that explains the use of a pistol at the range that is not registered to you? Adults. I have seen the sections discussing youth. -

Making a new hunting knife

figured. Was asking because with the cost of the blank you can cut down on the material loss by drawing some of that out in the blade area. What is you process for treating after you shape it? -

Letting The G/F Shoot My Guns Question

It's by design. OK. insert qualifier here///not a lawyer...get your own legal advice...yadda yadda yadda. That said I believe the POSSIBLE stumbling block is on the "transfer' portion of this. Is it a transfer if you hand it to someone without the proper steps? Personally I would think that a LEO would not be bent on writing you up on that. I personally wouldn't hesitate a second to do it especially if you are at an official range. As a side note. marry her and you don't have anything to worry about....lol -

it is the Un-Safe Act that you want to read. As far as making calls. if you make 3 you will get as many different answers.
