  1. I still think the right course of action was to not change the name and change the mascot. Just change the mascot to a potato and it's over. Have the potato like a Mr, potato head and him kind of bending over with his lips strategically placed on his butt in a caring but KISS OFF gesture.
  2. people working for Hobby Lobby were given coverage that other hobby lobby employees were denied? really? You do know there are lots of folks out in the world with coverage for birth control, right? Are they being discriminated against too? Must have been one of those inalienable rights they never covered in any of my classes.
  3. She would be unemployed today if I were her manager.
  4. Wouldn't Government involvement been them forcing Hobby Lobby to do something against their religious beliefs? How is it involvement since they didn't force them?
  5. Curm, But would it stand that she either knew it was someone's bird or it must have been a wild Raptor? I don't think the "I knew it wasn't native because I am so good at identification and I knew it didn't belong to anyone" defense should hold any water.
  6. Here is the gun we have for the last person standing game. (45-70) http://www.marlinfirearms.com/images/bigbore/zoom_1895sbl.jpg
  7. Even at the last gun show there were AR's an 30 round mags with a big sign over them all "law enforcement only"
  8. I am kind of fond of 30 cals. Not something to use every day for sure, but would love to have one of these as a range toy. 30-378
  9. Gun of the Year is only available with some of the presale packs. Pretty good odds at the gun if people get in that.
  10. We use ours all through the winter if snow doesn't keep us out. W grabbed a 40 gallon poly tank out of a demolished camper. Put it in the loft and we pump into there and then draw off it for use because the L7 wouldn't make the jump to 'comfortable" from 35 degree water.
  11. Thank you. Just under 4 weeks away and presale deadline for the best value in raffle packages is only 10 days away.
  12. I have that exact set up at our cabin. bought this hot water heater and use it with this pump combination. It is purely for non potable water. The on demand supplies the toilet and bathroom sink and shower. we have solar panels to keep the battery charged and use a 275 tank for collecting water. http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_527_527 I would suggest (especially if using rain water to use on of these in line filters http://www.freshwatersystems.com/p-6568-shurflo-255-223-twist-on-strainer-12-barb-inlet.aspx?utm_source=Googlebase&utm_medium=Feed&utm_campaign=Product&utm_term=255-223&gclid=Cj0KEQjw_pmoBRDu986bpISz5ZsBEiQANiuHDEDUvtljNOd_sFBH6g11iP-gxFQTtLV7_lgraOSPMGYaAh818P8HAQ http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/portable-tankless-water-heater?a=1588405 We use a tank like this and you can find them coming up on Craigslist for about 75/100 each http://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/H-3886/Tanks/IBC-Tank-275-Gallon?pricode=WZ395&gadtype=pla&id=H-3886&gclid=Cj0KEQjw_pmoBRDu986bpISz5ZsBEiQANiuHDIEYh2zte5y7f0V6k8Q0r0sN5t7hZLqAOXIXSWMwfEUaAuOJ8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds Originally we collected rain water but we didn't like being weather dependent so with a creek about 150' from the cabin we buried a water line and use a pump and a generator to fill the tank. This is the solar panel we use to charge 2 deep cycle marine batteries. It holds up great for a weekend, even running a few 12 volt lights and my father's CPAP machine but need to hook up the generator and charge if we are there for a week stay. http://www.harborfreight.com/45-watt-solar-panel-kit-68751-8527.html If you have any further questions let me know. Our system keeps the water lines charged at the cabin at about 40psi. The pump lifts from the tank at about 5'. the biggest challenge is planning how to drain the system for the winter. plan it out with valves and sloped pipe so all you need to do is shut it off and open the valves. Oh and we have 5 years using this set up with no issues at all.
  13. Those two leased the fields to local farmers to help offset the cost. It helped. I think many of the areas of state vary in the tax part but NY in general it high.
  14. I have two of my best friends that each grabbed 50+ acre parcels this way.
  15. On the block where I live there is 50 acres of undeveloped land (not structures0 for just over 250k if you have some extra pocket change floating around.
  16. Considering ballistics, it is basically even between the -06 and 308 inside 300 yards.
  17. I agree but there was all types of Alaskan game taken even prior to our modern bullets and rangefinders with great success. It really is about accurate shot placement within your and your rifles effective range. I can't help but think that this new fad of bigger and faster and flatter shooting rifles is right in the same line of that new state of the art driver that is made out of alien spaceship titanium and is infinitely adjustable and guaranteed to remove that terrible slice from your golf game. There is no substitute for preparation, practice and proper form.
  18. The last 3 years I have had to go looking to find a hard copy of one since the issuing agent didn't have any. I did find one but it took a couple stops.
  19. best luck I have had to Traction, wear and minimal road noise are General Grabber AT's
  20. When I was younger and healed faster My buddies and I used to participate in full contact ice fishing...lol. We all set out our tip ups and then jigged to kill time. No matter who's tip up went off, the first man to the hole got the bring in the fish. no rules...lol.
