Look into the Arch system for the leech field., especially if the sand or stone has to be trucked in a long way. It can save on the costs, even though it may require more excavation. http://www.ads-pipe.com/en/product.asp?page=arc_chambers

A tree stand I got off Craigslist for 40 bucks
Culvercreek hunt club replied to ronschaniel's topic in General Hunting
But it would still make sense that they attach to the tree at the same location. if one was level and the other sloped up or down are they long enough? I have never seen one of that height use two braces but it must need it if set up for it. -

We call them attorney safeties. Springs as heavy as the suspension on a 1 ton truck. -
All good. It is online also since the State has really cut back on the amount of printed ones out there.

Zeus, not to bust your chops...well Ok it is busting your chops, Did you read the regulations and how many years have you been hunting.

weather is predicted. Sun down is set in concrete. it is a guarantee and depending on the season and species the legal hunting times can vary. for Deer you are done at sundown.

I am less hung over and less tired with a Saturday Opener than a Monday...lol. Of course I am older.

Just a bit of advice to members on here and any visitors. The members here love to help but if you are going to ask a question about a regulation or involves the legality of an action, Please, at least appear to have read the regulations and not have slept through the hunter safety education course. We not return you to our regularly scheduled scolding. .

Did he say if it could be "eased" into position to avoid the click? -
I guess I just like it "being" No preference one way or another. It means we are cranking up camp, always a good thing.

The problem with this time of year is any doe can drag a buck along with it. Ones you have been watching all season can vanish and ones you have never seen will show up. How much time have you spent over that scrape or going in to make/tend it and check cameras?
-
I fixed it for you, lol. Before the last change it was always the third Monday in November. This year is the earliest it can occur

Wild apple help
Culvercreek hunt club replied to Fletch's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
http://www.wikihow.com/Prune-Apple-Trees This actually covers it pretty well. My grandfather used this process on all his dwarf and grafted trees in apples and pears. -

Ants, Did it still "click" even if you kept your thumb on the safety and gently guided it into the fire position? Not flicking it lick a light switch? I has a Mossberg that did that and I was able to correct it. One reason I like the 700 safety, held between the index finger and thumb it can be slid softly into position with no sound. -
Any advice to keep poachers off your land?
Culvercreek hunt club replied to thunnus's topic in Bow Hunting
It has nothing to do with respect. I personally don't spotlight but all I have heard you do is whine. As I said early on. it is legal. if you have a problem with it, do something about it. Change your land o get the law changed. To be honest, your "my animals" attitude speaks volumes of your level of respect. -

Any advice to keep poachers off your land?

With a sign like that you might as well cut it into about 5" wide strips and roll it up on a cardboard tube because it has about as much legal standing as toilet paper. -
We didnt do bad at all!
Culvercreek hunt club replied to mike rossi's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Let me add one on. I want MUCH tougher penalties for violations of Game laws. Higher fines, possibly tied, as other states do. to the potential value to the citizens. So a poacher of a big 10 point gets creamed compared to a guy poaching a spike. I would also like to se a large portion of the fines go to enforcement budgets. -
My Uncle had a similar issue Eddie. We got him an electric fillet knife and he has a much easier time of it.
