in what length barrel? -
More horrible than having your kid abused daily and beat in he head? I am going to go on a limb and say very few people are truly stuck where they are. I know it won't win me any popularity contest but it is the truth. The truth also is that most are just unwilling to do what is necessary and make the required sacrifices to make changes happen. So much easier to sit an bitch about how bad they have it. Sounds like Elmo's parents did what was necessary to get them out of the area. I would have to as well because my other option would probably not end well for the ones screwing with my kid.

It was an analogy. if Phil was the HR manager and it could have had the same perception with the Gays are sinners comments. Truth is we have no idea what their contract include. He got the raw end of the deal for sure. (so far). He shouldn't have lost his job. Bu this is NOT a first amendment issue as some suggest.
-
But the reality is that does happen
-
Wrong. How do you think it would go for a company you own if your HR manager was a member of the KKK on his own time? Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Just incase you needed to see the text. It is a protection from the Govt. and has been loosely applied to other aspects of life but the 1st amendment has NOTHING to do with this.

we did to the Italian sausage. 4# untrimmed pork butt to 16# of venison. for a 20# batch Just beef fat in the summer sausage and peperoni 2# of beef fat to 18# venison for 20# batch.

Hate to say it Elmo but it sounds like it was your bad judgment in picking the places you lived. I am not one to mix words. If you stayed in a spot where all that went on it in on your head. There is evil in every walk of life but you child's safety is no ones responsibility but your own. I don't see that in the suburbs around me.
-
I have smoked it. I had hoped on saving a whole hind quarter to do it as well. just didn't work out. We do 4 different sausages. tried hot dogs but they came out a bit dry. needed fat. The summer sausage was the best. and the peperoni was next best in my book.

I know I have been sleeping a lot with all these meds for my sciatic but did I OD? Did I just wake up and it is September already? Sure seems like the fevered pitch just before the season, not a week after it...lol

Live in my world every day where it is truly what sex, race, and disadvantage you have that determines what people keep their jobs not their ability to do the job. All because the Govt. has "goals" that must be met. Oh it is a goal and not a mandate but if you don't meet the goal then you didn't[t do enough to try to meet the goal. I spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to support out position of missing a minority goal on one project. Northern NH. Any idea of the make up in far upper NH? I hired the one African American in town and he wanted to go to a job outside the state. I am not exaggerating Elmo but there were 4 Asians and they ran the Chinese restaurant. That was the minority make up of the region. Some Bureaucrat felt a complaint was in order. On other jobs We have to let folks go to maintain the goals. I know for a fact the same happens in police forces for females that can't pass the shooting proficiency tests. How does that make you feel. Reward laziness and incompetence and you get more of it.

Yup, I read it again and it still sounds to me like joy, but since I can't hear you I will give you a mere lack of sympathy.

If your statement held up to logic. How many Christians are there compared to GLBT's Wouldn't they be catering to the largest market? And Blacks do get a pass on their comments in the public much more than any other race
-
Wanting and being happy that "whitey" is getting knocked down a peg or two sounds bigoted to me
-
Well might as well crush the 1st on here too....lol Joking John

You don't understand. He didn't say every Jew/gay was...but the ones that do control are. Ought to brush on subsets and absolutes.

Honestly I can't really see this as an attack on the 1st. Much different than what is taking place with our 2nd, the Govt. is not involved in this. We really have no idea the terms of their contracts were and, while I think it is BS what A&E did in the position I hold my words outside of work could have an impact on the company I work for in the course of my duties. I think Phil knew what was going to happen. wouldn't surprise me if their lawyers weren't on this before it took place. If you haven't read the article in it's entirety it is worth it. There are context issue with how the media is presenting what was said, imagine that. It wasn't stated with hate or bigotry, it was very matter of fact in the context of his faith. He doesn't understand the desire but went on in length to say it is also his faith to basically treat everyone well and let God sort it out. he views it as a sin and said so. A&E was wrong and the DD group will profit even more from this

Just curious how many have actually read the interview and no the media excerpts?

Should have been around southern Finger lakes (80's)and Tug hill in (I think late 70's). Nothing like seeing hundreds of deer yarded and in various stages of death with full stomachs and bone marrow that That can be poured out of their bones. Saddest thing I have seen in the woods -
There is nothing in hunting like hearing a hound with a strong voice on a track. I gre up doing it, my first hunting experiences and I really miss that.

My encore is rated for 150 grains. I shot 100 too and didn't really notice a difference inside of 150 yards. I have no idea how much powder is not getting burned but at 200 and 250 there is a difference is in drop using only 100gr. I think they have 30 grain pellets too but I have never tried them. 130 may yield the exact same results. I thin this year I will be working up a load with the BH and will be up to my buddy's place with tables out to 300 yards so I should be able to see the point of no more benefit. -

Moog--You hit it on the head. The opposition is purely emotion. Probably right up to the point they go out to dinner and order veal -

I carry a little can of brown spray paint in my back pack for just such a situation, -
Even more than proper techniques I think it is almost a lost art to get a gun that actually fits you. I have very large cheek bones. Unless I am shooting a rifle with a scope I can't get down on a stock with a Monte Carlo stock. Just doesn't fit. Most of my rifles I can't even use the low rings even though the scope would accommodate them. I need the extra height. I see guys at the range shooting and not even have their face in contact with the stock. One of the best set ups I have seen for an entry level gun that I am surprised more companies don[t do is the Mossberg 500 combo. They give you two cheek pads for the stocks. One high one to work with their cantilever barrel and scope to raise your head up and a lower one that aligns you lower for the vented rib barrel. Works pretty well
