I would feel fine as long as they invited me over for a cook out with that wonderfully tender meat, I have taken my share in the past. when permits were hard to come by we really used to try to get the biggest one we could find. Now with fists full of permits it really isn't as big of an issue. I still look for the bigger does but if I can identify it isn't a BB and there isn't a bigger one around it will go down. Some of the best eating out there. -
My response to a friend in a similar situation was that I would pass getting out of the truck when we got back from hunting. His brothers dog was at the truck door growling and showing teeth. I asked him if he like out friendship. He said yes. I said me too and after that thing bit me my actions would probably put too much of a strain on it. I have a zero tolerance policy for biting dogs.

Why? Have you seen the NY totals for estimated fawn takes? The guy got a double. Good for him if he is happy. I agree on the blood but the title is the show stopper for me. Unless he plays the banjo and then I totally see thee point he was making -
Sorry, couldn't resist

They can't do with out us. No matter how the anti's would love it, it isn't happening. They can't fund school books, can you imagine them doing contraception of NY's deer herd. It is in poor taste for sure but Hunting is going nowhere. You are more likely to find yourself hunting with a single shot before anything happened to outlaw hunting. -
For them to train your wife the same way?

easier to hunt. A return to a more relaxed movement. The other option is allowing a special lottery draw to tie them up to a post the night before the season opens...

Personally I don't have a problem with the pic but with snow right there I would have wiped the blood off. The title is very lacking in taste. Well not really I guess. It has a lot of BAD taste. -
Replacement Ramrod Question

I can't see a dowel working. Doesn't it double as the adapter for things like a cleaning jag and a bullet puller? Mine does -
Another one that may work is stopping by a local hair cutting place and getting their garbage hair clippings. I know one guy that did it to another over a disputed stand sight.

I have never used a scarecrow but I have parked a 4 wheeler in the middle of the field to force deer out of it and make their way around. Where I was waiting.

I wouldn't have a problem with a break as long as the season total isn't reduced and if the is NO hunting during the break.

Come on...That is a cat that barks, not a dog....just kidding.

How many are aware of this law?

How about a real monkey wrench in this. How does a pistol that shoots a center fire rifle caliber fit into this? -

Any luck with TSI ?
Culvercreek hunt club replied to dhuntley2's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
It was theirs. There suggestion was to have a logger pull out every marketable tree out. And as part if the contract have them push anything remaining over in your marked out areas. If you have 20" trees it would mean money in your pocket and the work is done. Select the areas with the wind in mind and just like food plots, keep the edges irregularly shaped -
able to take a doe?
Culvercreek hunt club replied to long island hunter 5's topic in General Hunting
He did not buy muzzleloader tag so he has an either sex tag. The regular season buck tag can also be used for either sex. You can only hunt with your bow late season -

You may want to look into what WNY suggested. I toured a property done this way and the use by the deer was unbelievable. The tonnage per acre of food and protein content exceeded their plots. -
The BDL is just a higher grade stock with more detail. I also think the standard BDL comes with iron sights and a hooded front sight.

Ethically it shouldn't be any different. Legally however it is very different.
