I wouldn't think they look too bad. it isn't a knife. I would think with a straight blade teh ones on both sides of the cut get partial kerrnel cuts. THis lokks like pretty full ones.

Up north on a 200 acre parcel I hunt and is owned by family but they are never on it or hunt it. Cam across 3 areas where it had been harvested. between the 3 spots there was probaby over 150 plants.

I think we can all agree that the shot window in this case is pretty small. What always crosse my mind in a scenarion like this is what can take place as soon as we release that arrow. There are many on here that can put an arrow in a 2" window every time at 15 yards...20...30 maybe even 40. But we are talking a small window. I know the bows out now are very fast and the time to target is short, but not immediate. Even if we do our part nd the hold is steady, pin placment is on the money and the release and follow through are perfect, we can't control what he deer is about to do. A twitch, a step or a shoulder shrug can change the outcome. Heck it can happen with higher percentage shots. I am not saying to not take this shot but I am saying to consider the possible outcome before you do.

It is legal. I used it in Canada and took a bear. She cam into it rather than the bait. I just used a soup cam and a propane torch. once you heat it up it begins to boil and foam. keep the heat right on the can and burn it to a sticky black mess. You would not believe how sicky sweet it smells. No need to keep the heat on it all the time. Try to get it in an area that is visible and will get a gentle breeze to it to carry the scent down wind.

Shotgun buck. 5x3 that dressed at 185# Rifle Buck Typical 10 with 2 kickers. 205# dressed Muzzleloader buck. THis is the onlyone I know the score of. 138 5/8 gross -134 5/8 net. I think it was 190# dressed. This was the first buck I had on trail cam and was able to take.

Sorry to hear that Virgil. I agree with Cabin. Time for some action. I am about 2 1/2 hors from our lease and while we have been very lucky so far I often think it is jsut a matter of time. I know they are expensive but I am considering the trail cam that emails you the pics so even if they grab the camera you have their picture.

I must be gettign really old becasue I have no desire to lug around extra weight...lol
