  1. Joseph...what kit did you actually buy? I was sure the lee turret kits came with a priming tool
  2. I think we sell lottery tickest for the pleasure of throwing the switch. Use it as a revenue maker.
  3. caution on BB guns. they are more prone to richochette than pellet rounds.
  4. Call and ask. Only one way to know for sure. If not they would know who does.
  5. I have the exact same press you do as well as the same dies. I wish you lived closer I would be willing to show you. A lot of the online retailers are out of stock on stuff. I imagine this run on supplies should ease and stock will replenish. (I hope anyway). THis is not the norm but you need to find a local supplier and Dicks and Gander don't carry squat in what is needed. I ran a seasrch. I don't know anything about these places so i would call first. 7. Joe, Not to sound like I am busting you chops but I would really hate to see something go wrong for you. Take a step back and stop. re read ALL the information again and get a better understanding of it. I know for a fact that many of the questions you are asking as detailed in the Lee manual and in the die instructions. Take your time and please be careful. I don't know it you are using already fired brass for the 30-06 but make sure it is reloadable brass if it is. The lee dies are set up to pop the sizing/depriming rod up through the top of the die if you apply too much pressure. This should keep what happened from happening. Becasuse of that it may have been a defective part and I bet (just like Eddie said) they will send you a new one if you call customer service. Do you know anyone that reloads or are you near a gun club? It might be worth sitting in and watching someone run through the process too.
  8. Lee does not like the Federal primers in the Auto Prime for some reason. I have substitued CCI for any work I have done but since they can be tough to find on occasion I have reworked loads with Remington Primers As with anything is you change a component I would drop back to starting loads and work back up, looking for signs of pressure as you go..
  9. http://www.hodgdon.c...Rifle Loads.pdf They also have Trailboss reduced recoil data http://www.hodgdon.com/PDF/Trail%20Boss%20Reduced%20Loads%20R&P.pdf
  10. You will find data that will work in all 3 of your cartriges.....but may not optimize them. i know loads are listed for IMR 4007SSC and H4895 in all 3 cartriges you are reloading. The 308 Win I shoot is a pistol so I wanted a very accurate load without a heavy recoil until I got use to it. It is useful to have a reduced recoil load for things like youth rounds. H4895 is a powder that they have developed loads for below the minimums for normal loads. As you probably read in teh manual already there can be a danger with small powder charges below the listed numbers. The H4895 was used to avoid those dangers and make soft shooting rounds.
  11. I load the H4895 in the 308 (becasue of the load data for reduced recoild loads) I use 4007SSC for the 270 and 30-06 It is a cylindrical powder but is super short cut (SSC) and it meters well. I also trickle every charge for the rifles. I use hornaday and Sierra game kings in the 308 and 30-06 but use a polymer tipped bullet in the auto loader 270 win because it does clip off a lot when cycling. (Dad likes pretty bullets....lol)
  12. Half of our office has it and several friends i know.
  13. If the one G got was calling it home I can understand it. It was a very large bear.
  14. Most of the face book accounts on teh list that I checked still were totally open to the public. (since they aren't my friends and I can still see family pictures). If as parents they aren't upset with their ifo and pics posted in the public domain I guess we shouldn't be. Fair is Fair.
  15. Scot, Think it makes a difference whether the bear is passing through or has an area as home territory?
  16. If you have bear in the specific area I would sure think the deer will avoid it.
  17. OK I gotta ask since I don't see any 'Kids" information. In the link to the map what are you guys seeing that I don't?
  18. I have a really strong stomach but that made me queezy. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART
