  1. The Democrat and Chronical has a good article says the state background check for ammo won't be up for 1 year.
  2. Pumps and Lever guns are not included in the legislation and can be built as you wish. Buddy of mine has a beautiful semi auto turkey gun. all camo with the pistol grip and another has one with a thumbhole. They are now assault weapons and fall under the law. I guess I won't be putting a laminate thumbhole on my 1187 deer gun.
  3. "Assault weapons" can still be sold or transfered to imediate family members. (Husband Wifes kids or step kids)
  4. Nothing new. Lots of people have done it in the past to push an agenda
  5. the one thisng I really didn't like (amog about 3 dozen) is that they cut and pasted the features from the rifle section to the shotgun section. I really wan't to put a nice laminate thumbhole on my 11-87. That isn't happening now. 22. 6. IF you can demonstrate a reason. There are like 6 or 7 to choose from . Beig a past Juror on a criminal case is one valid reason.
  7. Are there any you absolutely can "not" accept? Yeah---cost and funding
  8. The modification of the withholding schedules for the FED and the state is not the 2% you are refering to as a bonus.
  9. Ever see any Eagles in the area? I was going to say a Falcon until you said a hawk was one of them.
  10. But in typical political fashion (All of them) it is never presented alone. Every thinkg you could get behind as a good move gets clutted up with unrelated $hit.
  11. Honestly he made a list he was familiar with and it was accurate. It was not complete but it was accurate. He made no assertion that it was complete. It is about like going after assault weapons to stamp out fireamrs related murders or crime. Might stop a few but won't make a dent
  12. Like anything else It could have a place (assuming you could afford it). I would put in on par with the helo hunts for pigs. I would love to have this thing in a big tower stand with a view in all directions and a mandate to clean out some pigs. In the hunting world I can't see it, but it sure would be fun to play with
  13. Piss poor planning Phade. Should have been born prio to Jan 1st. Could have claimed for the full year...lol.
  14. Won't even out until you file/refund in 2014. They get enough I like mine in MY pocket...lol Total sits at about 4% and a health care increas on top of that. OH forgot...NYS "tweaked" their schedules as well.
  15. I should have been more clear. They modified the withholding scheduel to milk more out of us up front. Too many people owing. at tax time and they like having your money all year. Tax RATE has not changed yet. I like to owe at the end of the year. I like to have my money not them. So I have to change my exemptions to offset their grab
  16. Gun control and the hit in this week's paycheck so many have taken.......He may want more around him
  17. Edited by virgil, Today, 11:12 AM. You're killing me. I would have loved to read that respons...lol
  18. Bet she is glad she wasn't yet impacted by gun control. Imagine a group of 3 or 4 coming in. I can understand a desire to have a mag holding more than 10. http://www.11alive.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=271574
