My employer pays 80% of our premiums. ....at least they did until now. There are already discussions of the penalty vs providing. ... and if you have a GREAT insurance program that the company provides it will be reported on the W-2...next step is taxing as income....unless it is collective bargaining. Unions get a pass...hmmmmm. wonder why?

Were are you located? What make? I would be interested? -
Just wonder about your view on this. I went on a bait bear hunt and it was ok....wouldn't do it again. just not my thing. I have also coon hunted with dogs and it was more about watching and listening to the dogs run...the shot was no big deal. like 50' target practice.

I guess that is what I was talking about. it is physical and a rush like running a race? you could do the same thing without a gun and a license. To each his own. shooting a treed cat just seems the same as a fenced deer to me. Now if you were chasing the cat that is a different story....lol Good luck...What does a full mount on one of those run?
-
Hey Biz, I am not trying to bust your chops I really want to understand. You have been very down on any fenced hunts and while these cat hunts are free range isn't it more about conditioning that hunting? You may have to put on a huge amount of miles but the "hunt" is basically shooting a cornered cat? right? I grew up hunting behind hounds and I love that sound so I bet it will be a great experience. I was just wondering your take on it compared to the fences

Letting a boat sit dry is probably the worst thing you can do to it. Want me to keep taking it out so it doesn't forget what it is for? I am more than willing to make that sacrifice for you NFA. really!

Do you have any stands that are close to each other?
Culvercreek hunt club replied to regulat0r's topic in Bow Hunting
I have stands that I can actually see from other stands for all the points mentioned already. I will make one observation though......I GUARANTEE you when you are in one of them you will be watching them walk UNDER the other. Just seems to happen...lol -
Maybe this will help. I believe it is coyote as well.
-
the next generation of electronics will just go out and bring the deer back for you...lol. I like their products though. I use their Firenocks.
-
There may be a restriction in P&Y about that. Not sure, but I thik even lighted knocks are a no no for them.
-
The only restriction I know of it that it can not project a beam to the target...light a laser site

Very interesting read. I jknow they are scoring based on what an Ideal and perfect set of antlers would be but I have always wondered why at least non typical reacks are not scored by the shear amout of antler there is. I have seen some of these monster non typicals that leave a lot of personal opinion by the scorers....which one is the main beam and such. You would think with all of todays technology and laser scanning options a set of antlers could be measured to the nats a$$ -
Prevailing law should go away. it should be driven by market rules. THere is a cost to purchase a skill set to do a specifiec task. the market should set that not a predetermined number. Why is that not happening? Becasue the union and prevailing wages if HIGHER that the market point. It is welfare. It is the same as govt subsidy fo the corn for ethanol. it is not cost effective but your money is being used to prop it up and forcing other things up in price to cover it.
-
The government can only control wages on projects with Govt money in them. if it was good business all the private projects would be built using prevailing wages. Why aren't they. Because it would be too much freaking money. Build your house specifying prevailing rate...let me know how that works out for you.
