Understood, but I think saying it is a policy is a stretch and I don't think they should be singled out. it is everywhere. The abuse and the coverups.

I have had different success depending on the water and time of year. I am not cherry picking I am tryign to discuss specific allegations being made. I am in 100% agreement that these are the most evil of evil criminals and they exist in EVERY organization especially where adults are in positions of trust and authority. I think it is unfair and biased to specifically call out Catholics in this regard.

Just becasue they are a religious institution they do not have immunity from prosecution. any cover up to hinder an investigation should be treated like the crime it is. I think there were a few cases outside the statute of limitations but has there benn an actuall prosecution of cover up and of actual abuse?

I get funny about stuff. I wouldn't buy these just cecause of the way they are written up. they ass the main blades (1-1/8")to the beleeder blades ( 1/2") and under "cutting diameter" list it as 1-5/8"...lol. So if we use a full 4 blade broad head that is really a 1-1/8" diameter we can list it as a 2-1/4" Seriously though, seems pretty steep. I was baptized Catholic until around the year 2000 when I fell away from that church. So you insinuation is Catholics are condoning and supporting child abuse since they contribute any money to the church? Let's take it further. Are we supporting and condoning child abuse in our schools since our tax money supports teachers that committ child abuse?

I think they can take horn damage and not carry it into next years unless there is actual damage to the pedicle. I believe if the pedicle is damaged they basically carry that for life. I thik it would be like really smashing the tip of your finger and having you nail grow deformed from no on.

I think Rochestergirl has a great idea for a punishmnet. He is the problem with it though. It assumes that the parents would implement something like that. The parents that spawned and raised the little trolls would not give two hoots about something that would better their kids or teach them the lesson. If they did they would have already been taught that and we wouldn't be having this conversation. Society is also at fault and it plays right in to the mob mentality that was mentioned. As a society we have removed any consequences. Many kids have none and those kids become the catalyst for these events. Good kids with strong values will not get pulled into an event like this but the kids on the bubble are the ones that can easily be swayed. We have gotten weak and this hand holding, Dr. Spock mentality that has been shoved down our throats must go if it is ever going to get better. We are raising generations who's only focus is themselves and don't understand the consequences of their actions.

And there is the problem with the whole situation. it is 100% the parents fault. period. no discussion. any view other than this is an excuse.

If a teacher had ever kicke my butt I would have gone home and never said a word. I would have gotten it triple there. As well I should have. These little tools wouldn't see the light o day for the rest of highschool. no extra activities. no sports. not phones or tv. nothing. homework, community service and hard manual labor at home.
