Saw my first on the way to Hornell yesterday. was't mangled just laying dead in the middle of the road. You may think I'm crazy but I stoped and threw it in the weeds on the side of the road. I totally made sure no traffic was coming. Call me crazy I know. lol

State of Emergency. Bath school district closed. Heard Canesteo got hit hard. Sucks.

Broken home, bullied online did not have many friends and always got himself in trouble. Was arrested twice at school. His father just got his rights back to spend time with him last week. They were up here on Monday I talked with him he seemed happy. Wednesday he was dead. So sad.

My best friend next door lost a grandson at 13 to suicide. We celebrated him today. “Reach Out, Speak Up, Save a Life.” “Be the Light in Someone's Darkness.” “Choose Life, There's Always Hope.” “Together, We Can Prevent Suicide.”

Wasn't as wet as I thought so I mowed for 3 hours. Pushed out two fawns laying in the tall grass. Boy they wait for the last minute. So Im mowing some paths through a field and about 20 feet in front of me a mature deer gets up from its bed stretches and walks off as I drive by. It's true they have no fear of man on tractor! lol I also cut the grass down to the height of the clover in my plots. Took an hour for fox and deer to show up on camera.

Going to do an oil change on tractor and lube it up. Have to remember to change out gear oil on brush hog. Will mow Sunday.

Last couple of days I've seen some Hay. fields cut. More rain Saturday, yuk.

My Farmer planted two weeks ago. In fact most fields around me are planted. Looks like this week coming up things will dry out. My trails and field areas I mow are all so long its going to be a bitch to do and when I can do it. Just too wet to drive ag tires on it.

Not hearing any gobbles. Just seeing lone hens walking the fields. They must be sitting on eggs on the edges. I'm done for the season. I'll post picts of the bird I'm having mounted when done.

Myt little guy didn't budge even with the dogs on him. You are right they are born with it.

All these years in the woods I never came across a bedded Fawn. Took the dogs for a walk and they were ahead of me. Tall grass they were very interested in something. It was a fawn. It would not budge from its position. Even with the dogs over it. I got them out of there pretty quick. Glad I wasn't mowing. Pretty happy they didn't go after it.

This guy has been hanging around my food plot all week. Shows up at all different times. I'll hunt him Sunday and Monday. This is a hen in second picture correct?

Still haven't done anything yet. It starts everyday, I do it a few times. Have not had the problem come up again. Going to check all connections this weekend. I have two trucks so I don't use it unless its a short trip and leave it running when I go to gas station.
