    Albino Deer

Bowshot, why not just come out and say it?
  2. Make new trails for what? Pardon my ignorance.
  3. If I was doing personal attacks, it wouldn't be a civilized as that. If you can't take the heat from your remarks, then get out of the kitchen and stop crying. Just stating it the way it is. Don't impose what you would do on the general hunting population.
  4. It's funny how people just assume other people's answers would be different just because their own answer would be different depending on if it's a buck or doe. Very narrow minded I find.
  5. Lawsuits in this country prevents any civilian or officials to take action without following the proper protocols.
  6. It should be what every hunter should do. Good for you for doing the right thing.
  7. You must not wok where I live then, because it's the worst I've seen in the last 30 years. I suppose working here and living here must be two totally separate things.
  8. Just great, more reasons for the gov to come take your guns or worse, throw you in jail and more "tax". Just what this country needs is more tax.
  9. Hey Tony, I was referring to this post about pics of the bullet. All this is odd though with a potent round in 30-06.
  10. The bass are deeper now, been getting them in 20-30 FOW. They're on live shiners and hard baits now, like cranks and rattles. Spinner baits was doing good a month ago, but getting them deep enough is a challenge and makes for slow fishing. I'd go with drop shooting and deep cranks this time of year.
  11. A properly shrouded airgun will be quieter than the impact of the pellet. I often ask my buddies what they heard, and it's always just the impact thwackk!
  12. Never said it was the rule for state land. I'm sure there are other public lads that does not allow this. Point is, hunters are usually the ones being regulated but hikers and bikers, not so much.
  13. I'm also worried about this. As long as the rimfire don't surpass that of the .223, it should be ok. I can't imagine a rimfire being able to burn powder efficiently enough to propel a 40 grain .22 with that speed and accuracy. Somethings gotta give.
  14. Actual airgun. They use glocks as their regular weapons.
  15. I totally agree with this, however these same people usually end up in state lands that does not allow hikers during hunting season.
  16. Pretty sure it's a smaller round than a .22. It claims to be 500 fps faster than any other rimfire, which will require more powder and less weight in the bullet. I'd imagine another necked down round similar to the 17 HMR, but with more powder. I'm guessing its a .20 cal with a rim wider than a .25 cal.
  17. I was watching this new TV series, Beauty and the Beast, and Katherine was using a Crosman 1377 or 1322 pistol. Episode 7, Out of Control.
  18. Any pics of the bullet? This is very interesting.
  19. Grey, the Crosman Premier domes and HP are the same pellet, just drilled out to cause a hollow cone cavity. The domes perform a tad bit better in terms of BC for longer range shooting. Both pellets will not mushroom unless shooting over the sound barrier speeds due to their alloy mixture. Monk, I find the Destroyers to be good close range pellets in medium powered guns. I like them best between 600-800 fps. Again, for the price, it's not the best pellet by far but for target and pest control, more than adequate. For precision work and long range, pure lead for high BC.
  20. The Destroyers in .177 is not a bad pellet, especially for the price. I've herd some bad reviews on the .22 however. The Crosman Premier HP and Domes are indeed very good pellets for the money in .22, but I wouldn't use them in .177. For the price of the Beeman Kodiaks, you can get the H&N Barracudas for the same price, and can choose from 3 different head sizes to match your barrel. In either case, it all depends on what the shooter expects from the airgun. I have pellets that are as cheap as dirt, and some that cost much more than 22LR rounds.
  21. Especially the black ones! I hope I don't get banned for this, I love this site!
