If both arrows are cut to your draw length, then the 500 series arrows are going to be lighter by 25-30 grains. I'd go with the 500 unless you plan on increasing your draw weight to 70 or so.

You are not allowed to trespass, even to recover deer. If the owner of the land has a deer tag, that deer will now belong to the land owner, not the person that shot it. If there is no tag, then the deer must be returned to the shooter. This is DEC law.

Clifford, NYC is the only place in NYS that requires a special permit to possess a long arm. The range that I go to is Blue Mountain Sportsman Center. It's located just under an hour from the Bronx. Outdoor range.

Used to drive on this everyday to work and get off exit 36 and pass 35. I know this area well, and unfortunately, there's always accidents on it. The rush hour traffic, plus careless cell phone drivers and add the fact that people are nosey and want to be in everyones business usually ends up with dead police officers. This incident will only further enforce the change lane law recently put into legislation.

I use the Simmons for around $70 after rebate. Same one CR has, 4x zoom and all. Accurate +- 1 yard.

Doesn't that mean the draw length on the bow is too long for you?
