40lb leader is common for striper fishing here in Brooklyn and LI. Some go as much as 80 flouro. The Canarsie guys routinely use 80+ braid with 100 lb mono shock.

If you are in walking distance to your hunting area, you can always drop off your bow and come back with rope, bags, and a knife and gut and quarter to make the trip back easier.

I'd help you, but I'm new myself. Personally, I would continue hunting small game and while walking the woods, try to put a pattern together. I hunt with airguns, and that gives me an advantage in scouting an area without spooking the deer. Also, another piece of advice. You might want to proof-read your posts and correct with some proper grammar. I think it'll only help get your point across. Good luck!

Walt, been doing real good with the .25 here. The .25 really should be for game size of raccoon and larger, but for the accuracy, it'll have to do for the squirrels here. Got a chronograph for it and I'm clocking at 860 fps so far.
