If the guy is being an A-hole, then I agree. Give him a set of brains or move. Im talking about the mere sight of a guy showing up at the range with an AR style rifle. I seriously doubt that anyone on this sight would run away in fear of the "scary looking rifle". Bad range etiquette is a different story entirely.

The weird defects in your trail cams could be caused by aliens using some kind of signal jamming ray, or something ,so you can't see them… Bet you never thought of that.

Been seeing them but not hearing them yet. My buddy sent me a pic of a good size flock that was right off his deck & I have been seeing another flock on the other side of the property. LETS GO!!!

Do you think such guns look "scary" If you saw someone, at the range with an AR, would you become frightened and go home?? Some people think these rifles look scary because anti's and other special interest groups have told them so. Banning guns based on how some one thinks they look is insane. Rolling over and letting those who write the definition of a "scary gun" have their way, in hopes that they will not define our hunting rifles as "scary", is just as insane.

It has gone nuts. As far as younger kids go ( little league age) Its over the top. These kids play/practice baseball 12 months a year. My brother has his two boys going every day. Summer league, fall league winter camps, trainers, indoor practice 6 days a week…I think that professional sports has gotten so big and salaries have gotten so insane that a lot of parents think they have the next Derek Jeter under their roof.

The "workers" get a free ride on tuition. Syracuse University is over 40k a year and I imagine Notre Dame, and other big schools are at least that. Not a bad pay day.

I plow with one of my ATV's all winter. Only problem I had this year was the banks were getting too high and you can't raise ATV blades high enough to push them back. I've yet to see snow deep enough to give the ATV a problem.

Has anyone brought up the idea of maybe the DEC just wants more deer taken? (I may have missed it) Crossbows are "easier" and will put more hunters in the woods this fall. It makes sense that more deer will be taken. Just a thought

Me too. Old pre-pre 64 Winchesters, Savage 99's, 1911's, Colt revolvers…etc. A lot of them in the original boxes. There is a lot of junk too, don't get me wrong, but some of the stuff turned in is just unreal. I remember seeing one old lady turn in two old Winchester double barrel shotguns. They were like new. She was so happy to get her $100 that she almost cried. I think I did cry.

Very cool !! I love the way people are coming up with ways to keep their rifles with out all the hassle. The legal semi AR's are ugly, but they work. LIL King Andy can stick it.

Can't wait. Last night I ran into the neighbor of the farm I hunt. He said he has been seeing a good flock of birds, including some big toms, right on the edge of his property, and the farm. I drove by this morning and there they were !!!

The Daily News is such an over the top rag, that even honest liberals laugh at it. Its like its written by a bunch of 19 year old occupy Wall Street filth, from their moms basement. LOL! That "paper" is written and edited by a bunch of angry, dirty hippie activists. End of story

Last one they had around here they were giving $50 for a long gun and $100 for a handgun. No pellet or BB guns. It would turn your stomach to see some of the vintage guns that little old ladies were turning in for peanuts, so that they could be destroyed for the sake of a big publicity stunt. Their late husbands must have been tuning in their graves.

Seems like there should have been much more coverage. If there were 10k pro safe acters and only 20 anti safe people, I think the coverage would have been greater. Frustrating how corrupt the media are but thats what we're up against. Glad it was a big turn out….

Those buy backs are nothing but window dressing. Not one criminal will turn in their illegal guns but the spin will be "the guns that were collected are that many less guns that can find there way into the hands of criminals" All B.S.

Very cool. As long as he gets right back on…no big deal. I remember my son dumping his first little ATV when he was around 5 or 6. He disappeared into a cloud of dust and my heart sank. Tears streamed down his dirty face as he took off his helmet and threw it at the ATV and yelled "STUPID THING!!!" Once I saw he was OK I just sat there on my machine and didn't say a word, he put his helmet on and climbed right back on…..Its all good. The wife was pissed, but thats par for the course.. Have fun.
