I could go on and on……...

You have a personal "finder" I have a personal "hider". If something is in her way my wife will take it, from a place I have been leaving it for YEARS, and put it somewhere that I would never think to look. Not long ago I couldn't find my keys and she wasn't home so I had to use my spare set. I have always kept my keys on the end of the kitchen counter. Turns out that after 20 years, she didn't like that spot anymore so she moved them upstairs to my top dresser drawer. Who the hell keeps their car keys in an upstairs bedroom drawer???!!! Sorry for the rant.

Yup..Gander in Cicero gets it just about every Friday and according to one of the guys who works there, the same crowd of guys is waiting outside for the doors to open. They buy their limit and even try to get back in line for more. I have seen this first hand. I got into a pissing match one time with a guy that got his ammo, ditched it in his car, came back in wearing a different coat and tried to get back in line. A-holes like that are a big part of the problem

When I lose something I usually find it in the last place I left it.

So much for the latest issue of Field & Stream.

The guy should try to look up Kelso and Hyde….Maybe they can help…LOL!!!

LOL!! Back then that was the only reason why most guys bought those things.!!! Right around that time, 78 or so, my brother in law, who was only dating my sister then, showed up at the house with a brand new Ford Econoline. No windows!! I thought my father was going to kill him. I remember me and my brother sitting on the front steps, laughing our asses off as the old man backed my BIL all the way down the sidewalk, getting in his face and threatening the hell out of him. LOL!! Shagen Wagon!!!

A lot of these dirty little people blatantly litter because they know that most people won't call them on it. I say something to these rats all the time. I don't care. I remember being behind a carload of trash in a drive through one time. They got their order pulled up to a trash can and the driver, rather than get out and walk 5 feet to the trash can, opens is door and throws a big bag full of trash onto the side walk, next to the can.The bag was half open and spilled out all over the sidewalk, near the front door. When I blew my horn at them and pointed to the can, the entire scummy little family, starts flipping me off and swearing at me. Like the child I can sometimes be, I gave it right back to them but of course it did no good. Some people are just low lifes.

This morning I drove by the farm I hunt and there were about 8-10 turkeys in the neighbors yard all around his bird feeder..Its time to start annoying my wife & daughters, with my turkey calls..

People are just getting more and more selfish and disrespectful. I've seen people toss trash on the ground like its what you're supposed to do. A lot of it goes to crappy parenting too. Ever see furniture and T.V.'s dumped on the side of a road? It pisses me right off.

Just printed it out..Thanks..

What our Forefathers understood
ants replied to Trial153's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
unfortunately enough humans are incapable or following any form of rules, laws or moral code of conduct. Certainly not all humans, but enough. If a criminal is intent on robbing someone and he has the choice of robbing a 6'-5" 280lb guy or a frail 100lb. elderly woman….who do you think he would choose? Probably the one who could inflict the least amount of "violence" on him. If a criminal intends on burglarizing a home, and knows that the owners of one home are armed with a firearm but the owners of the house down the street are not…which home do you think he will choose??? We live in a world where violence is a definite deterrent. Always has been. -
The Great Corn Debate - 1/2 Acre Plots
ants replied to LetEmGrow's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
I have 2 small plots. One is a mixture of different things like rye, clover and other plants. (I think the seed I used was called "secret spot" The other plot is turnips. I have had real good luck. The deer won't hit the turnips until winter time, but they will pick at the clover and grasses that grow between the turnips.- 12 replies

Can you use a ported choke tube in a barrel thats already ported?? I have been wondering about that. I don't thing it would be dangerous but is there such a thing as too much porting screwing up patterns?
-
Good set up. The 284 is one of the rarer cals. for that rifle. .308 was most common.

I've been itching to get out for a while, but the weather has been too crappy. Hopefully the next week or so. I picked up a Beretta M9 about a month ago and it hasn't even been out of the gun locker yet…WTH?

The one day I really hate being in the City.
ants replied to First-light's topic in General Chit Chat
No!!! this was during the parade… Maybe 1 o'clock or so. I walked about a block to use the john and there it was…I don't trust drunk people around porta johns (seen more than one tripped over in my days) so I took the walk. Luckily the 3rd stringers hand't discovered the pizza joint next door and I was able to make a pit stop and get back. You're right though… Hang around after the parade and face the consequences. -
Just had it a little bit ago…AAAaaaahhhh. I kind of hid the left overs in the back of the fridge behind some stuff. Hope it works……then again I just might buy another one for tomorrow..Good stuff.

I know a guy who swears by 3" steel water fowl shot out of a mod. choke. He says he gets super tight patterns (because of the steel). I think I'll stick to turkey loads.

I Can't imagine the NYC parade…I have been to the parade In Syracuse a bunch of times. In my younger days it was a ball. Then I didn't go for years until my daughters dance team started to march. I've gone for the past 8 or 10 years and it has been a drunken puke fest every year. Last year I walk into the mens room of a down town bar to see a drunken, sloppy 20 something year old girl sitting on the crapper, stall door wide open, laughing uncontrollably while her girlfriend was puking in the sink. Classy!!!! 20 years ago I would have laughed but now I just can't take it -
Thought I would just throw it out there. What is your favorite turkey combo, as far and gun, load and choke. ( Im bored and itching for May 1st.) Mine is Winchester Double X 3 1/2" 2.1/4oz. of #5's out of my Mossberg 835's factory choke. I have tried after market chokes but they don't seem to be much better than the factory choke.
