DIY cheap easy snow camo job
ants replied to josephmrtn's topic in DIY - Do It Yourself, tutorials and videos
Good idea. But I have tried using magic marker to draw on camo patterns and , although it works well, that magic marker stink lingers for a while, on cloth or cloth tape. I use strips of black electric tape, cut to different thicknesses over the cloth tape to break up the pattern. As far as the glue reside, it should come off with some mineral spirits. -
Pens are dangerous. Someone might accidentally be killed in a pen stabbing crossfire. Just sit there and watch the guy shoot people, until he has to reload then rush him. LOL ! Half of these antis are morons and the other half will say anything to push their anti agenda. In this case my feeling is this guy is a moron. The idea that people don't need guns to defend themselves, and others, against bad guys who are attacking them with guns, defies logic.

In a sane world this video would be a Saturday Night Live Skit http://www.therights...nman-to-reload/

I doubt that there are many land owners out there that wouldn't stop a person, that they physically found on their land. I don't think the land owner would just assume that the person is looking for his dog, or that he was lost, didn't see the posted signs...what ever and just let the person go on his way without talking to him.

Not the crime of the century, but I have had to deal with trespassers in the past and it pisses me off too.

Well said -
Hope you find out who this handsome devil is and put an end to his trespassing. Is that a radio hanging around his neck? Looks like a black motorola type.

Can't wait! I missed the whole season last year. Been seeing a good amount of birds out in the fields. Hope they stick around

So much for Cuo-Bama's gun control laws...
ants replied to Deerthug's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
And if the criminal wanted to hurt/kill someone and didn't have the gun, there is no way he would have used the knife or the brass knuckles. It's the gun!!! LOL!! As for a two year sentence ...more like 8 months, time served. -
How about this Bull Sh*t Law for NY
ants replied to nybuckboy's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Dirty politicians trying to price gun owners out of ownership. I don't see this law going anywhere but....the ball$ of these little rats!!! -
These new bows are amazing. I got a new Diamond 3 years ago and Im already wanting to "upgrade". I remember back when my new Hoyte, at 243fps, was considered insanely fast. Now it's almost considered caveman gear...LOL!!!

I have used the swap sheet to buy and sell a few guns & have had good luck. It can be a slight pain sometimes when you want to sell. People call and want to wheel and deal over the phone, offer trades, don't show up etc...but all in all its not bad.

I got the coffee going and between the picture of that cake and the smell of the coffee, I can't sit still. Gotta go out and grab some donuts or something

Best All Around Small Game Caliber?
ants replied to Rev Ev's topic in Small Game and Predator Hunting
223.... I was shooting a friends Savage bolt gun (.223) last week. Crazy accurate, light recoil. Im sure it will handle the game you are after. I know a couple guys that successfully bag deer with .223's every year. Finding .223 ammo for it might be a problem, but finding any ammo right now isn't easy. -

I just heard a clip on the radio. Nancy (The face ) Palosi just said that she believes that under the FIRST amendment, people have a right to keep a gun to protect themselves. OMG!!! They just get in front of the camera and flap their gums. It doesn't matter what comes out ....just talk. They think we are all morons that will buy what ever they say.

Olympic Arms Press Release
ants replied to Dakota Dog's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I don't think that anyone is referring to a cops life as "collateral damage". I think that they are referring to the fact that certain arms companies will not deal with the state, as a result of this ill-conceived law, as collateral damage. I think these companies have the right to make this statement, and I also know that the police, one way or another, will be properly armed. -
Good luck

Welcome

I think its all just part if the antis' ploy. They wont go door to door collecting guns, they will just try to find way$ that will make buying and possessing guns so expensive, that a lot of gun owners will just say "screw it" and give up. I don't think they realize what a high noncompliance rate they will have with their goofy leftist laws.

Need help deciding on a new 30.06 and 12Ga
ants replied to Tony7781's topic in Rifle and Gun Hunting
I hunt with a Rem. 700 in 30-06 or a Ruger M77 in 7mm-08. Both excellent rifles. So are the Brownings and the Winchester. IMHO they are so close I would say pick the one that shoulders and feels the best. Same with shotguns. Remington 870, Mossberg 500, Browning BPS, Ithaca are all good and can be bought with the bird and deer barrels. For a bird barrel I prefer the 26" barrel but thats me. If you think recoil will be a problem with a 30-06 look into the 7mm-08. mild recoil and heavy thump on deer.
