It's just a real good knife. I've noticed that some of the new ones are made in China now. Damn shame... You have to check the package and make sure there is a U.S. flag on it. Those are the ones made here. Pygmy.... Thats how I found mine. I left it at a gut pile... The next day I kicked around that area for at least 20mins. I was about to give up when my buddy spotted it, right next to my foot. Yahooo!

I finally called Remington today. They said that guns made prior to 1983 would have the locking action. (the bolt is locked with the safety on) After 83 the bolt can be worked with the safety on. They said it was a safety issue.

The Buck 110 is a great knife! I got mine as a gift in 1979 and still use it for deer hunting. It's by far my favorite. It's a little big to be used as a pocket knife, but it's a great knife. I thought I lost it a few years ago, while hunting and I was beyond pissed off all day. Found it the next day and if I could do cartwheels I would have.

Yeah it's gonna be wierd this year. I'm usually setting and trimming stands on Oct. 1st. through about the 5th or so.
