For all of you who have taken deer with the 25-06, how does it perform at closer ranges???? Say 50 yards and closer.

Yes…I don't have a garden anymore, but I did have them come back up before. Tomatoes from old plants that, for what ever reason, were left in the garden rot and the seed make their way into the dirt. I have heard of tomatoes growing after septic tank "material" had been accidentally or purposely dumped…….tomato seeds don't digest.

I was running around all day. The wife and kids went out to eat and brought me home a grilled chicken sandwich. It tasted like a boiled chicken breast on an old hamburger roll.. AWFUL!! But I was hungry so I ate most of it…. Hot sauce helped a lot....What ever…Sometimes you just eat to survive..LOL!!!!

Im thinking of getting one too. My brother in law and his dad hunt with them. The use the Hornady SST's. They get serious groups at 200 yards. The land they hunt has a lot of open areas. His dad killed a big doe at 150 yards + last year….no problem. Good luck.

I still go old school. Not saying that using cams doesn't work, but I just head out pre season and do the boring old look for sigh and trails thing..

Cool…..The Speedway gas stations (old Hess) give you points every time you spend and swipe your card. So far Im up to around 25 cents off per gallon. Im going to keep going till its really worth it….

He probably just wants to make sure that people, who he has no idea are or what their intentions are, just can't enter his property, without first being checked out, and then given permission by him to enter…..Big deal... -
I think there is some confusion about the background checks.People think that because the checks fell through that its now legal to buy online. Im pretty sure Its not.

Find trails, in the woods, that lead to the field. Set up near the thickest crap near the trails, where the woods start to open & find a spot where you can shoot out into the field too. If possible. If you can't find a spot where you can get a field shot, I would stay in the woods, near the thick stuff rather than hunt the open field…Thats what works for me anyway..
