Glad you didn't lose it. I once noticed a wallet sitting on the back bumper of a car, doing about 70 down Rt 81 North. My wife was driving so I had her pull along side of the guy. He looked at me like I was nuts as I tried to motion to him, about his wallet. Finally I held up my wallet, pointed to it and slowly mouthed W A L L E T--B U M P E R. Another reason why those shows drive me nuts….Back in the day I would make it a point to be home to watch them. Now I make it a point to never watch them. As soon as he hot blond next to you, with the professional make up job, says "lets take a look"…... Most of those show are a joke IMHO.

I have been shooting Lightfield 12G. slugs for the past 15 yrs or so and I am very happy with them. They are accurate and devastating on deer. This is the first I have heard of Lightfield ML bullets, But I would like to check them out….I would definitely give them a try, based on the good results I have had with the slugs. I shot a small buck with the 250 gr. shock waves, this past season, and was not impressed. First time I tried them. I used my regular load of 100 grains of Pyrodex ( 2- 50gr pellets)……. Small hole in small hole out. The bullet didn't expand. I recovered the deer but The "Shock waves" didn't shock anything, I got patch and ball results.

It all depends on the area and cover. Tall open, bare hardwoods you need to be high or you stick out like a turd in a punch bowl.. tighter woods and earlier in the season, when the woods are still on the thick side, you can go much lower. I have stands that range from less than 10 to around 17-18 feet.

Nice machine ..The big engines are awesome. I have an o7 Polaris 700 EFI. Way more power than I really need, but just having that much power is sweet…I think my machine could pop a wheely, but I never had the stones to try…….LOL!!

I have an 07 Polaris 700 EFI. When I give it the gas it takes a good 2 seconds to actually move. Any ATV motor heads have any ideas??? Im thinking its a worn belt???? Machine has around 800 miles on it and I do plow with it in the winter.

I threw an eye round roast in the crock at 11 this morning, with carrots, potatoes, onions, spices and a can of Bud Lite. 6 1/2 hours later it was perfect. A little crispy Italian bread and cold beet salad to go with it, and it was all good.

Same with my two girls…My son likes to shoot, but never got into the hunting…Double sigh…….

From what I know, the 1 800# works, but because the electronic system is down everyone, nation wide, is calling in NICS checks and overwhelming the phone system so everyone is being left on hold for well over an hour. I talked to Gander Mtn. guys today, and thats what they told me. A buddy called a small FFL, he knows and was told the same thing.
